Цели урока:

  • формирование компетенций (коммуникативной, учебно-познавательной, дискурсивной, социо-культурной);
  • формирование у учащихся толерантного отношения к иноязычной культуре и друг другу.

Задачи урока.

1. Развитие общеучебных навыков:

  • навыка выделения главного в информации;
  • навыка установления взаимосвязи между процессами и явлениями.

2. Совершенствование навыков аудирования.

3. Совершенствование навыков монологической устной речи.

Форма работы: групповая.

Оборудование урока: мультимедийная установка, презентация, раздаточный материал, 2 микрофона.

Well, you see that almost everybody has got a mobile phone in our studio. And this map shows the percentage of the population that owned a mobile phone in some countries in 2003.

4. Совершенствование навыков аудирования

You know that people use mobile phones not only for talking but for texting as well. I want you to listen to 4 teenagers and match them to the reasons why they like texting.

O’K. A mobile phone is very useful. But don’t forget about its disadvantages. So, let’s start our discussion. My guests on the left will be active mobile users and they will speak about advantages of this gadget. Let’s greet them. And my guests on the right will be parents and teachers. They are against mobile phones at school. Well, now will you read this text and find good and bad points of mobile phones. So, dear boys and girls what do you think of mobile phones?

7. Домашнее задание.

Thank you very much. I think that both teams are right. As for me, I’m still in two minds about this problem. You see, I’ve got a nine - year – old son, Vanya. And of course he asks us to buy a mobile phone to him. What should I do? Help me please.
