Share the talking with your partner. Be polite. Keep to the topic of the talk. Try to sound interested in the discussion. Come to an agreement with your partner. Pick one option only. Discuss all the options. Help your partner asking some questions if he/she can't continue the conversation. "Switch off" when your partner is talking. DONT's: Dominate the discussion. Interrupt your partner. "Switch to" another topic if you are more interested in it. Show that you are not interested in the discussion. Forget to reach the decision with your partner. Pick two or more options if you both like them. Keep on speaking on your own if your partner can't continue the conversation Stop the discussion as soon as you've come to an agreement even if you haven't discussed some of the options. 4.
