Objective: The students will practice vocabulary related to sport games. They will be able to use the modal verb `can` to make up positive and negative statements and form questions with `can`. They will practice reading, speaking, writing and thinking English.
Materials: Tape recorder, pictures of sport games, envelopes with word cards, a ball.
I. Introduction (tape-recorder)
The teacher and students are singing the song to the music:
`Good morning, good morning, how are you?
I`m fine, thank you,
Good afternoon, good afternoon, how are you?
I`m fine, good bye!`
II. Phonetic drill
Students will be able to recognize and sound the symbols.

V. Grammar drill
a) Students will practice to use the verb `can` in questions, negative and positive statements.
T.: Now, look at these pictures and make up sentences with the verb `can`. Don`t forget about these signs `+`, `–`, `? `.
The students look at the pictures and at the signs `+`, ` –`, `? `. They make up sentences. The students take out the word-cards from the envelopes and make `+`sentences. They are reading their sentences in turn.

VIII. Oral practice
Students create their own dialogues using the previous words.
T.: You have pictures and some words at the back of them. Face each other.
Children look at the pictures, read the keywords and make the dialogues. Then they act them.

Students will practice to forming of possessive case of personal pronouns.
T.: Let`s play ball a little. I throw the ball and say`he`, the student who catches it answers: `his`.
