Урок 2.12 (Модуль 2 Challenges)
Методическая разработка урока английского языка подготовлена для учащихся 11 классов школ с углубленным изучением английского языка. К уроку разработана презентация (приложение 1) Данный урок может быть использован при изучении и закреплении лексического материала по теме "Challenges". Разработка составлена к учебнику «Звёздный английский-11», авторы К.М.Баранова, Д.Дули, В.В.Копылова, Р.П.Мильруд, В.Эванс.
Цель: формирование и совершенствование коммуникативной компетенции по теме, активизация лексического материала, практика в аргументированном высказывании.
Задачи:
- образовательные: расширение кругозора учащихся, развитие универсальных умений, позволяющих совершенствовать учебную деятельность по овладению английским языком;
- развивающие: развивать память и мыслительную деятельность учащихся, развивать способности к анализу, обобщению, способности к языковой догадке в целях расширения лексического запаса, развивать умения аргументировать свою точку зрения, делать вывод, подводить итоги;
- воспитательные: формировать нравственный, позитивный режим общения при обмене мнениями, повышать мотивацию к изучению английского языка.
- практические: формировать речевую деятельность учащихся на базе новой лексики, развивать умения чтения и аудирования с целью извлечения информации, совершенствовать навыки диалогической речи, тренировать выполнения заданий в формате ЕГЭ.
План урока
1. Организационный момент
Приветствие, перекличка учащихся, проверка готовности к уроку, организация внимания учащихся.
Good morning, students! I'm glad to see you. Who is absent today? Are you ready for our lesson? Be attentive, active, ask and answer different questions, participate in discussion, listen to your classmates and the teacher.
Формулировка целей и темы занятия.
I'd like to start with your predictions about the subject of today's lesson. Look at the slide, please.
Every year millions of people visit national parks to vacation and learn about history of countries. National parks belong to you and to me. They belong to all of us. Each national park protects something special. These places have been set aside because they are important for people to know about. Some parks have special natural features, special plants, hot springs and geysers, lakes, etc.
All of these very different places have one thing in common. Each represents an important example of our country's natural and cultural history. They are a legacy, an inheritance, saved for you and for your children, and for all the future generations.
And now open your student's books, pay attention to the title, the pictures and the subheadings. (Student's book, p. 60)
You are right. We are going to speak about the National Parks, read and listen to some texts on the topic, expend our knowledge in the vocabulary and do exercises.

3. Основная часть
Развитие навыков чтения (Student's book, p.60, ex.2, 3)
Read the texts and do exercises: at first, read text A and fill in the gaps with the words from the list, for text B find the missing words, in text C change the form of the words in capitals. (Задания выполняются в рамках подготовки к ЕГЭ).
4. Отработка новой лексики
In the texts you can find the words in bold, try to match them with their meanings. (Student's book, p. 60, ex.4)
5. Развитие навыков аудирования
Детальное понимание смысла аудиотекста. (Задание выполняется в рамках подготовки к ЕГЭ).
Listen to the texts and choose the text which appeals to you the most. Be ready to tell three interesting facts you learnt from the text. (Student's book, p.61, ex.5)
6. Развитие навыков диалогической речи
In dialogues discuss with your partner some questions: Why is it important to have National Parks? What purpose do they serve?
7. Домашнее задание
Collect information about the Pribaikalsky National Park according to the plan (presentation).
8. Заключение
Now, I'd like you to answer some questions.
- What is the season that you think would be a good time of the year to go to this national park? (spring, summer, winter, autumn)
- Which kinds of activities could you do at this national park? (hiking, camping, swimming, skiing, go boating, fishing, learning about history, etc.)
- What is historic about your park?(a famous person was born there, a famous person lived there, a famous battle happened there, an important event took place there)
- What job would you like to do at this place?
- Do you think that changes in the weather, pollution, any other are threats to this national park?
