Ведущий 3: The tradition of May Day is very old. More than 2000 years ago the Romans began to celebrate the festival of Flora, goddess of fruit and flowers. The festival marked the beginning of summer.

Ведущий 1: May Day begins early in the morning. Before sunrise people gather spring flowers and greenery to decorate their houses. They believe that the vegetation spirits will bring good fortune for the next year.
