Форма урока: урок-упражнение активизации лексических единиц и грамматических структур
Задачи:
Образовательные:
- отработать употребление изученного лексического материала по теме «Город. Правила дорожного движения»;
- развивать умения и навыки устной монологической речи (подготовленной и неподготовленной);
- организовать аудирование текста «London Traffic» и контроль понимания услышанного;
- активизировать употребление повелительного наклонения the Imperative и модального глагола can / can't в речи учащихся.
Развивающие:
- создать условия для развития таких аналитических способностей учащихся, как умение анализировать, сопоставлять, сравнивать, обобщать познавательные объекты, делать выводы;
- развивать память, внимание, воображение учащихся;
- содействовать формированию самостоятельной познавательной деятельности.
Воспитательные:
- содействовать развитию интереса к изучению иностранного языка;
- содействовать повышению уровня мотивации на уроках через средства обучения;
- содействовать воспитанию культуры общения, потребности в самовоспитании.
Технологии: проектная, коммуникативная.
Методы: формирование новых знаний организации деятельности учащихся, личностных результатов, контроля и самоконтроля.
Ход урока
1. Организационный момент. Задачи урока
(T) - Good morning! I am very glad to see you! I hope you are well! Sit down, please!

(P) - Be safe on the road
(T) -You are right! I think that you know rules of the road and you are safety-conscious pedestrians. But right now I am going to find out how well you know the rules. So today we continue speaking about traffic rules, road safety and different means of transport. The motto of the lesson is “Keep safe, stay alive.» Let’s begin.

4. Развитие устной речи учащихся
(T) - Do you know traffic rules? Are they important in our life? Can you say the rules in English?
Let’s work in groups. (Работа в группах. Учащиеся делятся на 4 группы. Каждая группа получает комплект предложений и отбирает только предложения по своей теме (When you ride your bike. When you travel in a car. When you cross the street. When you travel on a bus.), потом один ученик из каждой группы представляет работу.) There are 4 groups. Each group has some sentences, choose 5 or 6 sentences to your topic! Choose one student to present your work.
Now let’s correct the sentences to make them true. Give your instructions! (слайд презентации)
- Don’t wear a seat belt when you are in the car!
- Run onto the road to cross it quickly
- Talk to the driver, when in the bus!
- Don’t walk on the pavement! Walk on the road!
- Don’t look both ways before crossing!

6. Активизация употребления грамматической конструкции с модальным глаголом CAN
(T) - One of the things that really upsets me is the traffic. Some drivers don’t respect each other and can cause an accident. Some of them don’t follow the traffic rules. Do you know the traffic rules? Do you know what these traffic signs mean?
Учащиеся выбирают правильную форму глагола can/ can’t из подписей к дорожному знаку.
