Сценарий урока по теме «Let’s go to the cinema! / Поход в кино». 9-й класс

Предмет: английский язык.

УМК:

Тип урока: комбинированный.

Цель урока: развитие коммуникативной компетенции.

Задачи:

• Развивать умение говорить на иностранном языке. Развитие монологической и диалогической речи.
• Закрепить грамматическую тему «Образование степеней сравнения прилагательных».
• Стимулировать интерес учащихся к культуре англоязычных стран.
• Повысить мотивацию к изучению языка и культурного наследия.
• Развивать логику, способность анализировать, сравнивать и обобщать информацию.

Методическое обеспечение:  дидактический материал - рекламные листовки.

Планируемые образовательные результаты

• Предметные: Уметь образовывать степени сравнения прилагательных, использовать их в условно-речевых ситуациях, выполнять задания в различных текстовых форматах.
• Метапредметные: актуализировать и структурировать лексический и грамматический материал, расширить знания об искусстве кино России и англоязычных стран.
• Личностные<: укреплять мотивацию к изучению английского языка и целенаправленной познавательной деятельности, осознавать российскую культуру через контекст культуры англоязычных стран, развить умение представлять свою точку зрения, участвовать в диалоге.

Ход урока

1. Приветствие. Мотивация

Подготовка класса к работе, определение темы урока, планирование деятельности.

Teacher: Good morning, children. I’m glad to see you. How are you?

Students:  Great! Pretty good! And you?

Teacher: Please, look at the booklets. What will we speak about? What will we do at the lesson?

Students: We’ll talk about films, I guess.

Teacher: Right! Our topic today is «Cinema and films». We'll discuss favourite movies. We'll revise grammar material and words.

2. Актуализация знаний по теме “Кино и фильмы». Работа в парах.

 Let’s start with practicing the words! Let’s divide them into two columns: effects and impressions.

How many words have you got? Could you please read and translate them!

3. Создает проблемную ситуацию

Let’s talk about your favourite films. What will you recommend us to watch next weekend? What should we use?

- Adjectives, maybe.

- Right! To give your pieces of advice you should use Adverbs in comparative form. Now we should practise the grammar rule Degrees of comparison of adjectives.

Давайте также вспомним исключения для слов good, bad, little, manymuch, far.

Good – better – the best
Bad – worse- the worst
little – less – the least
many/ much – more – the most
far – farther – the farthest
far – further – the furthest

Сложные случаи: for example: interesting – more interesting – the most interesting.

4. Физ. минутка

It’s high time to have a break. Let’s do some exercises.

- Turn left, turn right!

- Sit down, stand up!

- Clap your hands, stamp your feet!

- Great! Take your seats, please!

Now your task is to talk about your favourite film. You have about 5 minutes at your disposal.

Student 1: Hello dear friend! I like Pirates of the Carribean which is an adventurous film. There great special effects and exciting stunts. You can see  haunted mansions and a ghost ship in the film. I think Johnny Depp in an amazing actor. Well, Orland Bloom is even more brilliant than Depp. That’s my opinion, you see.

Student 2: “Mission impossible” is one of my favourite films. It's an exciting plot. Tony Cruse stars there. The film is action-packed and exciting.  It has American spirit of adventures. What I like best about the film is incredible stunts. I recommend you watching this film.

Student 3: My favourite movie is a cartoon “The adventures of Paddington bear”. It’s a really romantic comedy. Costumes are very neat and realistic. Besides you can see beautiful sceneries of London, its colouful markets and typical English houses. Sound effects are superb! Everybody becomes better, kinder and friendlier.

Teacher: Thank you very much! That was great! Any questions or comments?

Student: Isn’t a movies about Paddington the Bear for children?

Student: Yes, it is. But adults can enjoy it as well.

OK. Now we know about some films. Let’s invite our classmates to the cinema!

Dialog 1

Student 1:  Hi Mike!

Student 2: Hi Dan!

Student 1: How about going to the cinema this weekend?

Student 2: Why not? But wait… What’s on?

Student 1: The adventures of Paddington bear.  It’s a great movie!

Student 2: OK. At half past 5 then.

Student 1: Alright! See you!

Dialog 2

Student 1: Hello girls! What are you doing?

Students: Nothing really.

Student 1:  Fancy going to the cinema tonight?

Students: Sounds good. OK.  Do you know any comedy?

Student 1: Yolki, that’s a new comedy film.

Students: Great! Let’s go after classes!

Student 1: I'll wait for you in the schoolyard at 3 pm.

Students: See you soon!
