План урока по развитию лексической компетенции учащихся 9 класса на основе УМК “Enjoy English” М.З.Биболетова, Н.Н. Трубанева по теме: “Conflict resolution?”

Задачи урока:

1. Практическая задача:

  • Научить учащихся находить запрашиваемую информацию в тексте (на базе писем подростков в молодёжный журнал, при просмотре видеофильма), совершенствовать лексические навыки по теме и тренировать их в употреблении сверхфразового единства.
  • Обучать сравнению слов, умению нахождения противоположностей, обучение работе по алгоритму (при составлении диалогов)

2. Воспитательная задача:

  • Воспитывать умение работать в парах, группах, воспитывать умение принимать мнение других людей в разрешении конфликтов

3. Образовательная задача:

  • Расширять лексику учащихся по данной теме путём нахождения антонимов

4. Развивающая задача:

  • Способствовать развитию слуховой и словесно-логической памяти, произвольного внимания на базе писем подростков в молодёжный журнал
  • Развивать способности к языковой догадке, умения спонтанной монологической речи, развивать умения диалогической речи: составление диалога по предложенному алгоритму.

ХОД УРОКА

I. Речевая подготовка

1) Организационный момент. Постановка цели

T. Good morning boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please. I hope you are feeling well today.

Today we are going to speak about teenagers’ problems. Let’s watch the video and answer some questions.

What is conflict?

What kind of conflicts do you know?

What is the subject of conflicts?

How often do you have conflicts with your parents?

How often do you have conflicts with your friends?

Can you prevent the conflicts peacefully?

T. Look at the blackboard. Listen and repeat.

T. Let’s work in pairs. Match the words with their definitions.

II. Основной этап урока

1. Активизация изученного материала по теме: “Конфликты”

- Pre-reading exercise

T. It’s important and interesting to know what people think about solving of teenagers’ problems. Now we are going to read the texts about it. Before you read the texts I ask you to look at the board and read the sentences:

1. Even if people are different, it doesn’t mean that they can’t get along.

2. When you try to resolve a conflict, choose your words very carefully.

3. If you argue with somebody, you should insist on your opinion.

4. You shouldn’t communicate with people who has different point of view.

T. Choose what can help us to resolve the conflict.

- Reading

T. Let’s divide into 2 groups and read one of these letters.

Girls! I ask you to read Diana’s letter. Boys! Read the other letter.

- After-reading exercises.

T. Let’s divide into 2 groups. (Делим детей на группы по уровню владения языком. Раздаём карточки с заданием.)

The task for the first group:

Complete the sentences using the information from the letters.

The first thing to do is..............

Don’t use words that ........people.

Ask for help if communication does not ........ a solution.

Take things into your own hands if people do not ...... you.

To resolve a conflict, it is important.........

The task for the second group:

Read the letters once more and decide where to add the phrases below. Mark the places in the letters where they fit in best.

Diana’s letter:

Frank’s letter:

2. Those two people would have no different ideas or opinions.

If you are ready, I‘ll ask you to change your cards. Listen and check your answers by listening to the two letters.

T. Work in pairs. Make up a dialogue between you and Diana or Frank.

You can use the following guidelines:
