Цели:
- Образовательная цель: Обобщение пройденного материала, тренировка лексико-грамматических навыков расширение эрудиции учащихся, их общего кругозора;
- Развивающая цель: развитие языковых, интеллектуальных и познавательных способностей учащихся, их чувств и эмоций. Развитие памяти, внимания, мышления, монологической устной речи, фонематического слуха
- Воспитательная цель: формирование интереса у учащихся к изучению иностранного языка, формирование познавательной активности учащихся.
2 команды заранее придумывают себе название и эмблему на английском языке. А также заранее готовится домашнее задание: 1) стихи для поэтического конкурса; 2) песни.
Зал украшен шарами, на стенах рисунки учащихся на тему “Времена года” и тема КВН.

I. Вступительное слово.
Teacher: Good afternoon, children and our guests. We are glad to see here! Today we’ll have a competition on the topic “Seasons”. Two teams will take part in the game, six pupils in each team. They will do interesting tasks. And we shall sing song, recite poems and guess riddles. And now it’s time to meet our teams. (Команды занимают свои места)
II. Проведение конкурсов.

Teacher: Captains, tell us about your groups.

Конкурс №1 “Find the words”
Teacher: And now let’s begin our competition. And the first task for our teams is “Find the words”. You must find 12 words on the topic “12 Month”.

Конкурс №2 “Confusion”
Teacher: So we come to the second task. It is “Confusion”. You have 3 minutes to do this task. And then one of you will name these interesting sentences.

Конкурс №3 “What season is it?”
Teacher: The next contest is called “What season is it?”. You must look at the pictures and sign these pictures.
(Детям выдаются листы с картинками времена года. Задача детей правильно определить и записать нужное время года)
За каждую правильно подписанную картинку команды получают 1 балл.
Teacher: So we have a rest a little and then continue our competition. And now sing the song about rain all together. Our guests will help us.

Конкурс №4 “Crossword puzzle”
Teacher: It is so nice and good. You sing very well. And let’s continue. The next task for our teams is to solve a crossword puzzle.

Конкурс №6 “Who can read patterns best?”
(Участникам раздаются листы бумаги с написанными на них скороговорками (по одной для каждой команды). Любой представитель команды может произнести скороговорку вслух. Оценка этого конкурса 1–3 балла.)
Teacher: Read these patterns to yourselves and then try to repeat them aloud 3 or 4 times as fast as you can.
- Cob is Bob’s dog, Tob is Mob’s dog.
- Pat’s black cat is in Pat’s black hat.
Загадки для зрителей. “Riddles”
(Зрителям предлагается отгадать загадки. Картинки животных изображены на экране. Дети отгадывают загадки на основе картинок.)
Teacher: Look at these pictures. You can see many animals. Guess the riddles:
