 – Good morning, children. Nice to see you! Sit down, please.

– How are you today? Who is absent? Thank you. Let’s start our lesson. 
– What date is it today? What date will be tomorrow? And what date was it yesterday? Guys, today we will travel round the world.
– What is the Russian for “traveling”.
– That’s right.  We have two teams: the first and the second (указываю на ряды). Look at the blackboard, you see two maps. The first team will trip by car to Mexico, the second one – by airplane to Brazil. Would you like to visit Mexico? As for me, I would like to visit Mexico. What about you? Would you like to visit Brazil? Ok. But first we will visit other countries. You should do all exercises. If you do all exercises right you will be near to Brazil or Mexico. Did you understand the rules? Ok.		 – Good morning, teacher. Nice to see you too.
– I’m fine. Kolya, is absent today.
– Today is the 4 of march. Tomorrow it will be the 5 of March. Yesterday it was the 3 of March.

– Yes, I would like to visit Mexico. Yes, I would like to visit Brazil.
– Yes, we understood the rules.

 Guys, let’s see what whether is preferable for the trip. It is important for travelling.
– What the whether do you prefer? As for me, I prefer to travel in the summer.
And now let’s read a tongue-twister about whether and train the sound [w], [ð].
First I will read the tongue-twister and then you will read after me. And after this we will read the tongue-twister all together. If you do this task well we will visit the first country.  Are you ready? Let’s start.

Good. So far we will see what group is the best. First this group read then thаt one.

– What else is important for travelling? That’s right. It’s transport. There are different methods of travelling. What kinds of travelling do you know? You are right. Open your dictionaries and look a the blackboard. First I will read word, you will repeat and then we will translate them. Write down these words in your dictionaries. You coped with this task.
– What the next country would you like to visit? We will go to France.
– To choose the transport is important for travelling.

Т ––> Р1, P2, P3…		 Guys, what countries or cities did you visit? And what way of travelling did you use?  Did you travel by helicopter? What did you do before travelling? Good. I visit Ukraine. I travelled by airplane. No, I didn’t travel by helicopter. I packed a luggage and booked a ticket.

Т ––> Р1, P2, P3…		 – And now, let’s see what country our friend Marie visited. As I remember your home work was to read and translate the text. You have 1 minute to look through the text.  Let’s check it up. First read. Masha, start please. And now translate. Neat work. And now, guys, I will give you the papers with task. You should see what statement is true or false.
– Did you understand? I give you 1 minute.
– Have you done? Let’s check it up. That’s right.
– And what country would you like to visit the next? We go to England. 		Читают и переводят текст. Выполняют задание.

– Yes, we understood.
– Yes, we have done.
– We would like to visit England.

Отработка грамматического материала (I would like to…)

 – Guys, what about you, would you like to visit Viking centre? Ok.
– What country would you like to visit? So, we will go to Italy. But first you should do exercise. I give you the papers. Your task is to make up sentences. And use the scheme which you see at the blackboard. And we will see which team will be the quickest one. The first team is quickest one. Let’s listen to the sentences. Good job. And now we are in Italy. 		– Yes, I would like to visit Viking centre.
– We would like to visit Italy.

Составляют предложения.
Составление диалогического высказывания (4 мин.)

P ––> Р

 The last countries which we will visit today are Brazil and Mexico. But first you should make up a dialogue. Look at the blackboard. You see an example. I give you 2 minutes. Have you done? Ok, let’s listen to your dialogues. Masha and Tanya, start please. Very well. Составляют диалоги.
Подведение итогов (2 мин.)
Т ––> Р		 Guys, you worked hard. And that’s why we reached Brazil and Mexico. Besides, we trained the sound [w], [ð], learned new words, made up dialogues and sentences, read and translate the text. Write down your home work ex 1 p 106, read and translate. I put excellent mark to Vitya. Good mark to Masha. The rest be more active and you will get good marks. Give me your diary.
