Для проведения мероприятия необходимо:
- довольно просторное помещение
- ассистенты-учащиеся старших классов, владеющие языком на уровне Pre-Intermediate (3-6 чел.)
- компьютер, проектор, экран или интерактивная доска
- повязка на глаза, небольшой мяч, небольшие карточки с номерами по количеству участников, которые можно прикрепить на одежду, стулья по количеству участников.
Ход мероприятия:
| 1. Greeting words. Warm-up. | «Hello, everyone! Today I’ve got a surprise for you. We’re going to play some nice games. Do you like playing active games? Do you think English children like playing active games? Do you think they play different games from Russian children? Do you know any English active games? Would you like to play some? OK, let’s start then. Today my assistants and I will show you how to play some popular English games and we’ll try to play them together. And at the end you’re going to answer my question: «Do Russian and English children play different games or do they play similar games? Why?» OK, now listen carefully and enjoy yourselves!» | |

As soon as somebody starts smiling, I "wipe" the smile off my face (показывает), and give it to the person who laughs and he or she continues the game». |

(выбирает одного участника и повязывает повязку на глаза)Nowheisblindfoldandcan’tsee. I touch another player who goes out of the room. After this all the players change places (показывает, беря кого-то за руку)You go here and you take his place. When you are ready, you call all together Who’s missing?. The blindfolded player opens his eyes and we slowly count to 5. One, two, three, four, five. If he doesn’t tell who is missing, he continues to play, if he tells, the player from behind the door becomes «It» ». |

показывают) «It’s a very old and famous English game. It’s called London Bridge is falling down. There is a popular children’s song. Let’s listen to it and try to sing it. (включается караоке с песней, слушаем, разбираем слова, поем, можно начать с этого ролика http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWQ_ItM9KZM) Now two players stand face to face with their hands together and up in the shape of a bridge (двое помощников показывают). Other players stand in a line (берет 3-х любых ребят и ставит их друг за другом лицом к экрану) and start walking under the bridge while singing the song. Every time when you come to the words «My fair lady» the two players put down the hands and try to catch one player. When two of the players get caught, they become a new bridge. » |

мальчик и девочка) «It’s a fun and active game. It’s called Tom and Kitty. All players stand in a circle but one boy and one girl are inside the circle. (Старшеклассники заходят в круг) All the players take hands, (показывают) the boy is Tom, and the girl is Kitty. Tom is blindfold (старшеклассник повязывает себе повязку на глаза) and he tries to catch Kitty by the sound of her voice. Tom starts asking: «Where are you Kitty? » and Kitty has to answer: «I’m here, Tom.» Kitty tries to escape from Tom, but every time Tom asks Kitty must answer. Besides she has to change her voice. When Tom catches Kitty, he must guess her name. After that Kitty starts the game and there is another Tom. » |

| Слова ведущего: | (проводит и играет первым ведущим один
старшеклассник) «It’s a game with a small ball and it’s called Queenie . All the players stand in a line and one is the «queenie» .For example, I’m the «queenie». I turn my back to you and throw a ball over my shoulder. (показывает, но пока не бросает) One player catches the ball or picks it up and hides behind the back. (показывает) All the other players put hands behind the back too. Then you keep your left hand behind the back and show your right hand to the «queenie». Next you show your left hand and put your right hand behid the back. While you continue swapping hands you chant all together. (Показываем слайд со стихом)
If the «queenie» finds the ball, the person becomes the «queenie», if not; the same player stays the «queenie». |

Then player 1, continuing the rhythm, says her own number twice followed by another number. For example:
Player 4 then does the same, starting with their own number and following with someone else's:
Anybody who makes a mistake or fails to keep the rhythm is out of the circle. As the play progresses you can speed up the rhythm slightly too, to try to catch the better players out. |

| 8. Wind down. | «OK, I’m afraid we have to stop now. I think you’re tired. I know you could play for one more lesson, because children are never tired of playing games. Well, tell me, please, did you like playing English children’s games? Do you remember my question? «Do Russian and English children play different games or do they play similar games? Why? » Which games did you like most? Why not play some of these games out at the breaks instead of playing your i-pads and mobiles all the time? Do you think it’s a good idea?» | |
