Teacher: Today we are going to speak about your timetables, the subjects that you have at school, you‘ll practice tag questions and other questions, we’ll speak about English schools and as a result you will try to make a dialogue

T: How many day are there in a week?

T: Yes you are right. I have got cards with their names. Work in groups (one group will be from Russia, the second group will be from Great Britain. Arrange the cards in correct order. What is the first day of the week in Great Britain and what is the first day in Russia. Let’s pronounce them all together

T: By the way, what is your shopping day, helping about the house day, reading day, visiting day, swimming day and TV day.

T: Let’s speak about the subjects the timetable. Look at the screen. What subjects can you name? Well done!!! What do you do in Maths class (In Art class, In P.E class…)

T: Look at Nelly’s timetable and answer the questions:

- How many lessons has Nelly got on Monday (Tuesday, Wednesday…)

- Does Nelly go to school on Saturday?

- What classes has Nelly got on Monday, Tuesday

T Now you have got different timetables. Work in pairs and ask each other questions and answer them. Some pairs will act out the dialogues in front of the class. The questions on the screen will help you!

T: Now you know a lot about English schools. Let’s compare them with Russian schools. Fred meets Misha and he wants to ask him questions. Fill in Misha’s answers to Fred’s questions. Then read it aloud in pairs.
