Урок приближен к реальным условиям жизни, вызывает интерес у учащихся, способствует повышению мотивации изучения английского языка. В игровой ситуации ученики обобщают полученные знания. При работе с лексикой используются нестандартные задания, помогающие развивать логику и догадку. В основу построения данного урока положен коммуникативный метод, наилучшим образом способствующий реализации главной задачи – обучения, развития речевых умений и навыков учащихся.

Цели урока:

1. Учебные:

  • закрепить и обобщить лексику по теме «Еда», «На рынке».
  • повторить употребление грамматических структур There is/are; some, any.
  • продолжить формирование умений в слушании, чтении, письме.
  • формировать навыки монологической речи.

2. Развивающие:

  • развить речевые навыки по заданным темам.
  • развить внимание, память, мышление.

3. Воспитательные:

  • развивать культуру обучения в разных видах коллективного взаимодействия
  • воспитать умение слушать и слышать друг друга при разговоре на английском языке.

Тип урока: повторительно – обобщающий. Форма организации: групповая, индивидуальная.

Оборудование:

  • предметные картинки по теме «Еда», «Овощи», «Фрукты»
  • постеры
  • рецепты

Ход урока

I. Warming up.

Good morning dear children. The theme of our lesson is “In the market”. We begin with warning up. Answer my questions:

  1. What is your favorite food?
  2. Which food don’t you like?
  3. Where can you buy food?
  4. Which food can you buy in the local market?

II. Phonetic drill

For our phonetic drill let’s say a tongue twister: “Give papa a cup of proper coffee in a copper coffee cup.”

III. Revising the words on the theme “Food”.

Look at the pictures. Name the food: This is a… (Banana, potato, tomato…).

This is some … (rice, sugar, bread…) you know the names of the food well. Let’ see if you remember how to write the words.

IV. Writing the missing letters.

Look at the white board. These are the names of the food. Write the missing letters and read the word. Ap_le, s_gar, br_ad, che_se, or_nge, cuc_mb_r, on_on. You know how to write the words on the theme” Food “. You work well.  

V. Creating a context.

There is a shopping list on the board: apples, bananas, potatoes, tomatoes, rice, sugar, fish, bread.

The teacher is going shopping today to buy the things on the list. Let’s read the words. Thank you. You know the words on the theme “Food”.

b) I am in the market, walking around the market with my basket.

“I need some potatoes.” Here they are. Apples. Are there any tomatoes?

c) Asking questions. (The things in the basket are covered).

VI. Constructing exercises. Filling in the table.

VII. Listening and guessing.

Look at the food items. This is my market. Listen to me and guess which item I am describing.

  1. These are round and red. (Tomatoes)
  2. This is white and you can drink it. (Milk)
  3. These are long and yellow. (Bananas)
  4. This is yellow and sticky. It is very sweet and you put it on bread. (Honey)
  5. These are round and orange. They are sweet. (Oranges)
  6. This comes from the sea. (Fish)

A volunteer comes to the front of the class and holds each food item as the teacher describes it.

VIII. Relaxing.

Now we have a short break. Do the actions:

IX. Reading a poem. (On the poster)

“In the market”.

I bought some eggs, I bought some cheese, I bought a little ham, but I didn’t buy any peas.

I went back home and opened my book –

What kind of food I am going to cook?

(a ham and cheese omelette).

X. Making a poem.

Now look at this framework on the poster:

In the market.

(etc., if you need)

But I didn’t buy _________________

I went back home and opened my book. What kind of meal I’m going to cook?

Please, think a simple recipe you know and write a list of ingredients.

Make your own poems.

XI. Working in groups or pairs.

Read your poem to each other. Try to guess what dish you are going to cook.

XII. Подведение итогов.

Сегодня на уроке мы закрепили лексико – грамматический материал по теме «Food. In the Market». Мы развили навыки чтения, речевые навыки общения на английском языке, используя изученную лексику, грамматические структуры There is/are … some/any…, развили навыки аудирования и письма.

Оценивание, комментирование оценок.
