Необходимое оборудование и материал для проведения конкурса:

вырезанные из бумаги цветные листья и детские рисунки, посвящённые осени и другим временам года, компьютер с проектором.

Оформление доски:

доска украшена цветными листьями и детскими рисунками, посвящёнными осени и другим временам года, на доске написана тема конкурса “I love fall most of all” и четверостишие: “Spring is green Summer is bright Autumn is yellow Winter is white”.

Так же на доске написаны 12 цифр (по 6 в два столбика) и карточки (12 шт.) из цветного картона (на оборотной стороне названия месяцев)

Ход конкурса

Hello, children! I’m glad to see you. Meet the jury (учитель представляет членов жюри). Our phonetic contest is called “I love fall most of all” Will you help me to read the poem? (Ученик зачитывает четверостишие на доске). Thank you.

(Учитель включает презентацию (Приложение 1, четыре первых слайда) и по её ходу задаёт вопросы детям). There are 4 seasons in a year. What are they? Look! What season is it? What’s the weather like? What autumn months do you know? And now let’s listen to the poems about autumn and autumn months.

I love fall

It’s wind blowing leaves
It’s chilly red knees
It’s nuts on the ground
It’s a crisp dry sound
It’s green leaves turning
And the smell of them burning
It’s clouds in the sky
It’s fall. That’s why
I love fall.

September

A road like brown ribbon
A sky that is blue
A forest of green
With that sky peeping through
Asters, deep purple,
A grasshopper’s call
Today it is summer
Tomorrow is fall.

October

October’s the month
When the smallest breeze
Gives us a shower
Of autumn leaves
Bonfires and pumpkins

How many months are there in a year? Look! (Учитель берёт одну карточку из цветного картона с доски, переворачивает и присваивает порядковый номер месяцу, например, February is the second month, и с этими словами прикрепляет название месяца к цифре 2). Put a card into the right place and make up a sentence.(дети друг за другом выстраивают месяца по порядку)

Now, name winter months, spring months, summer months, autumn months (дети называют осенние месяца последними)
