Цели и задачи мероприятия:
- совершенствование навыков аудирования;
- поддержание интереса к изучению английского языка;
- совершенствование навыков выразительного чтения;
- активизация и обобщение материала по темам: “Цвета”, “Квартира”, “Предлоги”, “Притяжательный падеж существительных”, “Структура “The reisa…””;
- развитие мышления, памяти, внимания, воображения и наблюдательности;
- развитие языковой догадки.
Материалы и оборудование:
компьютер, презентация урока (формат .pptx), мультимедийный проектор, проекционный экран,DVD“Winnie the Witch Video” (Oxford English video, 2005), “магический горшок”, половник, ингредиенты для приготовления “магического зелья” — баночки с подписями (snakes` teeth, frogs` legs, tortoises` tails, ants` eggs, black bats` ears, monkeys` toes, butterflies` eyes, rabbits` noses), колпачок-шапочка “Winnie the Witch”, “волшебная палочка” чёрного цвета, 10 больших звёздочек из бумаги (красная, оранжевая, жёлтая, зелёная, синяя, фиолетовая, розовая, серая, коричневая, чёрная), цветные карандаши, материалы для оформления класса — шарики, колдовские шапочки, разноцветные звёздочки, тыквы, изображения или фигурки чёрных кошек.
Раздаточные материалы:
- пригласительные флаеры для каждого учащегося “Сome to our Winnie the Witch Party” (Приложение 1);
- текст песенки “Winnie`s song” (Приложение 2);
- тест “Magic Test” (Приложение 3);
- кроссворд “Word Search” (Приложение 4);
- раскраска “Colour Wilbur” (Приложение 5);
- раскраска “Cats and frogs” (Приложение 6);
- раскраска “Winnie the Witch” (Приложение 7).
Ход мероприятия
I. Приветствие. (Слайды 1-3)

- Good morning, boys and girls!
- Good morning!
- I am glad to see you! Welcome to our Winnie the Witch party! Sit down, please. Well, let`s begin our party. Today we shall listen to an interesting and funny story about a wonderful witch.
Слайд 3. Hernameis Winnie. There are many books about Winnie the witch. They are very popular. Winnie is a kind, merry and funny witch. She has got a big tall hat, a magic wand and a broomstick on which she can fly. She has also got a pet, a black cat Wilbur by name. When Winnie flies her cat flies with her too.

- There is a beautiful song about Winnie the witch. Let`s sing it together. But at first we`ll read the words of the song (раздаточный материал — Приложение 2).

When you read about Winnie`s hat, please, raise your hands.
When you read about Winnie`s toes, bend and touch your toes.
When you read about Winnie`s wand wave your right hand 3 times.
When you see Wilbur`s black tail, wave your hand as a tail.
When you read about Wilbur`s green eyes, touch your eyes.
When Wilbur flies with Winnie shake from side to side as if you are flying on the broomstick.
And now let`s sing the song.

- And where are Winnie and Wilbur flying, I wonder? Oh, they are flying to our party!
III. Просмотр обучающего мультфильма. (Слайд 7)
- Now make yourself comfortable. We are going to listen to the magic story about Winnie the witch and her black cat Wilbur. Are you ready?

Дети смотрят обучающий мультфильм и выполняют задания, содержащиеся в фильме (Читают под музыку текст и поют песенки).

Дети отвечают на вопросы учителя.
- What is the name of the witch?
- Where does she live?
- What colour is her house?
- Does she have a dog?
- What is the name of her cat?
- What colour is her cat?
- What colour are his eyes?
- Can Winnie see him when he sits with his eyes open?
- Can Winnie see him when he closes his eyes?
IV. Интерактивные игры и занимательные задания. (Слайды 8-10)
1) Тест “Magic test” (Слайд 8)
- Boys and girls! Look at the screen, please. Winnie the witch has got a magic computer and she sent us a special magic test by email. If you do it she will tell us the secret of her magic spell (раздаточный материал — Приложение 3).
Дети выполняют письменное задание на выданных им листах бумаги.
2) Игра “А magicspell”. (Слайд 9)
- Well done, kids. Look at the screen. Now we`ve got the magic spell. Let`s read it.
Дети читают стихотворение вместе с учителем.
Take three snake’s teeth and four frog’s legs,
A tortoise’s tail and eight ant`s eggs,
Say “Abracadabra, jim, jam, jell!”
And now you’ve got a magic spell!
Take a black bat’s ear and a monkey’s toes
A butterfly’s eye and a rabbit’s nose,
Say “Abracadabra, jim, jam, jell!”
And now you’ve got a magic spell!
- And now we`ll try to make a magic potion. Sowe need (учитель показывает на баночки с ингредиентами для “магического зелья”):
- snakes` teeth

And don`t forget to say the magic spell “Abracadabra, jim, jam, jell!”.
Дети встают в круг и “колдуют”: декламируя стихотворение, они бросают в “магический горшок” ингредиенты “магического зелья”. Ингредиенты стоят рядом в специально подготовленных баночках с этикетками-подписями (snakes’ teeth, frogs` legs, tortoises` tails, ants` eggs, black bats` ears, monkeys` toes, butterflies` eyes, rabbits` noses).
3) Игры “Magic games”. (Слайд 10)
- And now let`s play the “Magic games”!
1. Кроссворд“Word Search”
- Now it is time for the magic “Word Search” (раздаточный материал — Приложение 4). Can you find the hidden words from the “Winnie the witch story”? The words can be written any way —forward and backward, top to bottom and bottom to top, left to right and right to left, and even diagonally. See how quickly you can find all ten words.
Дети выполняют тестовое письменное задание на выданных им листах бумаги.
2. Раскраска“Colour Wilbur”
- Do you remember how Wilbur looks like after Winnie`s spell? What colour is his head, his body, tail, legs, whiskers, eyes? Colour Wilbur (раздаточный материал — Приложение 5).
Дети раскрашивают кота на картинке в соответствии с сюжетом просмотренной истории.
3. Игра “Where is Wilbur?”
- And now let`s play! Our game is called “Where is Wilbur?”. We need two pupils: Winnie the witch and Wilbur. Winnie, come here, take your hat and your magic wand. Winnie, you must close your eyes, and you, Wilbur, must hide. When Winnie asks you “Wilbur, where are you?”, you must say where you are. For example:
I am on the floor.
I`m under the chair.
I`m on the chair.
I`m under the table.
I`m in front of the magic pot.
I`m near the window.
I`m near the screen.
I`m behind the door.
I`m between the chairs… etc.
And then you, Winnie, open your eyes and try to find Wilbur. When you find him, say “Here you are!”, then wave your magic wand 3 times and say “Abracadabra! Now you are red (for example)!” Then Winnie gives Wilbur one of these stars. And you, Wilbur, take the star and say “Оh! I`m a red cat! I don`t like it! I want to scream!” Then Wilbur runs away quickly and gives his star to another pupil.
Учитель объясняет детям правила игры.
Примерный диалог:
Колдунья закрывает глаза, кот убегает и прячется.
Winnie: (спрашивает с закрытыми глазами) Wilbor, where are you?
Wilbur: I`m here. Under the chair.
Winnie: Открывает глаза, находит кота. Here you are! Машет волшебной палочкой. Abracadabra! Now you are red! Передаёт коту красную звёздочку.
Wilbur: Недовольно забирает звёздочку. Оh! I`m a red cat! I don`t like it! I want to scream! Убегает и отдаёт звёздочку другому ученику (выбирает нового кота), затем одевает шапочку колдуньи, берет звёздочку другого цвета — кот становится колдуньей и игра повторяется снова.
Игра повторяется до тех пор, пока колдунья не отдаст коту чёрную звёздочку.
Winnie: Находит кота. Here you are! Don`t worry! Машет волшебной палочкой. Abracadabra! Now you are a black cat again! Передаёт коту чёрную звёздочку.
Wilbur: Радостно забирает звёздочку! Оh! I`m a black cat! I am happy! Танцует.
Колдунья закрывает глаза, все ученики со звёздочками в руках – прячутся.
Winnie: (спрашивает с закрытыми глазами) Red cat, where are you?
Red cat: I`m here, under the table! (Красный кот вылезает, колдунья открывает глаза)
Winnie: (спрашивает с закрытыми глазами) Yellow cat, where are you?
Yellow cat: I`m here, in front of the magic pot…

4. Раскраска “Cats and frogs”
- Oh, look! What happened to Winnie`s house? There are many cats and frogs here. Where are the frogs and cats? Read and colour (раздаточный материал – Приложение 6).
Дети читают текст и раскрашивают картинку.
V. Подведение итогов мероприятия, просмотр видеоролика. (Слайд 11)
- Dear friends! Thank you for your work. We have finished our party. And now let`s have fun!

VI. Домашнее задание. (Слайд 12)
- And now your home task. Look at the screen. Winnie the witch put her dress, her pyjamas and her stripy tights into the washing machine. But she put her magic wand into the washing machine too. Oh, no! Winnie the witch broke her magic wand! Colour the picture and write what you think Winnie is saying in a speech bubble (раздаточный материал — Приложение 7).
