Страноведческая тематика всегда вызывает огромный интерес у учащихся, поэтому эти уроки я всегда стараюсь сделать по возможности разнообразными по форме и содержанию. Предлагаю Вашему вниманию вводный урок по теме “Лондон”. Урок разработан по УМК Биболетовой “Enjoy English” 5-6 классы.
Тип урока. Вводный урок.
Тема: Sights of London.
Цель урока. Первичное введение материала по страноведению. Знакомство учащихся со столицей страны изучаемого языка.
Образовательная задача. Практика учащихся в чтении, говорении, аудировании, письме.
Воспитательная задача. Формирование у учащихся уважения и интереса к стране изучаемого языка.
Развивающая задача. Развитие зрительной и слуховой памяти, логического мышления, коммуникативных умений.
Оформление урока. Картинки “ Виды Лондона”, пословица на доске, проектор, интерактивная доска, магнитофон.
Ход урока
1. Организационный момент.
Good morning, my dear boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. How are you today?
Dear friends! Today we continue to study London - the capital of Great Britain. At our lesson we are going to learn a lot of interesting things about this city. We learn English and it’s necessary for us to know a lot about the country which language we study, about its capital and traditions.

But before we start, let’s train our tongues. Open your student’s book at page 80.You see a poem. At first listen to the tape and then we read the poem and translate it together.

3. Речевая зарядка.
As I’ve said today we are going to travel to London. But we can’t do it without several words. Look at the blackboard. You see some proper names. Repeat it after me, please. Open your exercise books and write down this new words and its translation.

But today we have an unusual lesson and I have a surprise for you. I am waiting for a guest. I want you to meet a young boy. He is from London. (Стук в дверь). Oh, I think he has come. (Входит старшеклассник с заранее придуманной легендой).
Come in, please. We are glad to see you. Dear friends. This is John. He is a student. He is from London. He likes to travel. That’s he is here. I want you to ask John about his hobbies, his family, about his house in London.
