Who lives in an extended family? What is your experience? (Possible variants.)
I believe that I feel happier than my classmates because I live in an extended family.
First of all, according to the statistics, children with brothers and sisters grow up less
selfish than if they haven't got any brothers or sisters .Children become more
responsible, they have to look after their brothers and sisters. Parents really need some
help, because actually it’s very difficult to look after all children. The next point is
that a child can share private problems with their brothers and sisters. I am sure.
relationships in the family are warmer.
However my opponents can argue that it takes a lot of time and money to bring up three or
more children. They have less free time, they are tired all the time and their life is
only their work and upbringing of children.
Let’s write the benefits and drawbacks of living in an extended family.

6. Changing Values and Norms of the British Family
The family in Britain is changing.
In the past, people got married and stayed married. Divorce was very difficult,
expensive and took a long time. Today people’s views on marriage are changing. Many
couples live together (cohabit) without getting married.
About 40 % of children in Britain are born to unmarried parents. People are generally
getting married at a later age now and many women do not want to have children
immediately. They prefer to concentrate on their jobs and put off having a baby until late
thirties.
The number of single- parent families is increasing. This is mainly due to more marriages
ending in divorce, but some women are also choosing to have children as lone parents
without being married.
