Как найти свое место в жизни? Какую профессию выбрать? Уже сейчас мы начинаем задумываться над этими вопросами, и сделать выбор действительно не просто.
В наше время так много интересных и нужных профессий! Конечно, каждый должен выбирать профессию, которая соответствует его стремлениям, увлечениям, способностям. Это подразумевает постоянную и кропотливую работу над собой по самоусовершенствованию.
Цель урока: обобщение и систематизация умений и навыков на основе монологических и диалогических высказываний по теме в форме дискуссии, деловой игры.
Развивающий аспект: развитие воображения, умения высказывать свою точку зрения, личное отношение к поставленной проблеме; умения аргументировать свое высказывание, определить и сформулировать собственные пути решения проблемы.
Воспитательный аспект: воспитание толерантного отношения учащихся друг к другу, способности к сотрудничеству и умению общаться.
Пособия: диаграммы, таблицы, компьютерные презентации, раздаточный материал.

I. Greeting. Warm-up
1. Saying compliments
T: Hello, everybody. The subject of our lesson today is “A Job for Life”. We are going to have a lesson-discussion, a business game where various jobs will be discussed. You know that people must be tolerant to each other, so let’s start with saying compliments.
(Учащиеся передают друг другу небольшой глобус и говорят комплименты)

P2: Thanks, you are very kind. Jane, your smile is so charming!

2. “Hot chair” game
T: What should we take into consideration while choosing a profession?
Is character important? I think, yes.
We’ll play a psychological game which is called “a hot chair”. The game is simple.
One of you will sit down on the chair, the others will speak honestly about his(her)
traits of character. Then our psychologist (name) will give her comments.

If you like a job which involves offering a service to other people you are supposed to
choose (you will be probably choose, you are likely to choose) the general service
category (practical, nature, scientific, outdoor active, computational, social, artistic).
P1. I think I have an aptitude for working with figures and solving
mathematical problems and I am interested in knowing how and why things work. So I think I
can work in a scientific or computational field.
Ps: I strongly advise you to become a doctor.
P2: I'm afraid I can't. I wouldn' t like to work with people.
Ps: Would you like to go to University?
P3: I'd love to .But I'm not quite sure what course to take.
Ps: Perhaps you could take up a profession of a driver?
P4: I like working with machines. – Of course, very often, but I
haven't decided yet.
Ps: It might be a good idea to try yourself in a profession of a teacher.

III. Conclusion
Writing a sinkwein poem.
Синквейн – это пятистишие, где первая строка – одно ключевое слово, определяющее содержание синквейна. Вторая строка – два прилагательных, характеризующих данное понятие. Третья строка – три глагола, показывающих действие понятия. Четвертая строка – короткое предложение, в котором автор высказывает свое отношение к проблеме. Пятая строка – одно слово, обычно существительное, через которое человек выражает свои чувства, ассоциации, связанные с данным понятием. Например,
