Цель: развитие навыков коммуникативных умений.

Задачи урока:

Образовательная:

  • Активизировать употребление лексики по теме «Характер».
  • Провести практику во всех видах речевой деятельности.
  • Дифференцировать употребление структур What is he? и What is he like?

Воспитательная:

  • Развивать положительные качества характера, умения выслушать собеседника.
  • Воспитывать чувство ответственности за друзей.

Развивающая:

  • Развивать мышление, творческую фантазию, инициативу в осуществлении иноязычной речевой деятельности.
  • Совершенствовать развитие долговременной памяти, коррекция произносительных навыков.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент.

T. Good afternoon, children!

T. Sit down, please! Tell me, please, what date is it today?

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

T. And now look at the screen, I shall read the words and you will repeat them after me all together (happy – sad, good – bad, naughty – polite, noisy – quite) (слайд № 1- 4, приложение)

OK, let’s see what sounds we repeat reading these words, name them together (называют звуки – слайд 5, приложение)

3. Речевая зарядка.

T. And who can tell me what are these words can tell us about?

T. You are right; today we shall speak about the character and try to understand what good and bad qualities people have. (Ch….чихаю - игровой момент)

5. Проверка домашнего задания.

T. My studious pupils I hope you have done your home work. Open your Activities p.121 ex.3. Your task was to describe your friend’s character using his or her name. Have you done this task? Who wants to answer?

You had one more task in Reader. It was to read the information about Scouts. And now your task is look at the screen, find in the crossword all words that characterize Scout’s laws and write down them in your copy-books. (находят слова в кроссворде – слайд 6, приложение)

T. Are you ready? OK, how many words have you written?

P. I have written 10 words.

T. What are they, read them, please.

T. And how many laws do the Scouts have?

T. OK, as you know every country has its own president. But do you know that at the beginning of the school year American children elect a class president?

Who is the best class president? It’s a topic of our lesson, and to the end of the lesson you should understand and tell me main president’s features.

Let’s read the text about candidates who wants to be a class president. (читают текст – приложение 1)

T. Do you understand this text? Do you like it?

P. Yes…

T. And now let’s do the test to this text in your copy-books. (выполняют тест – приложение 2)

T. Are you ready?

P. Yes…

T. Change your copy-books, look at the screen and check your answers. (взаимопроверка – слайд 12, приложение)

8. Аудирование.

T. Excellent. And now let’s listen to Ted, Julia and Mandy classmates’ opinion about these candidates. (слушают мнения детей – аудиозапись текста к учебнику для 6 класса «English 6», под редакцией В.П.Кузовлева, Н.М.Лапа, Э.Ш.Перегудовой Unit 2, Lesson 5, ex. 1 p. 35)

T. Is everything clear? Open your books p. 35 ex.1. Listen to the text once more and try to understand what arguments are in favour of or against Ted, Julia and Mandy their classmates say. (прослушивают запись повторно)

T. Write down in the table the arguments in favour of or against three candidates. (заполняют таблицу – приложение 3)

T. Have you finished?

P. I think Julia will be the best class president, because she has more good qualities.

T. And I want to know what features are more important for you?

P1. The most important feature for me is bravery, because such person can save somebody from difficult situation.

P2. As for me the man should be clever, because such person knows a lot.

P3. I think the most important quality for me is helpful, because each person should help the others.
