- развивать мотивацию к изучению английского языка.

- познакомить с реалиями страны изучаемого языка (Великобритании);
- поддерживать интерес к изучению культуры и традиций Великобритании.
- Воспитательные:
- воспитывать толерантность, уважительное отношение к культуре и традициям других стран.
Оборудование: материалы для рождественской композиции (изображение елки, камина, пудинга, свечей, а также фигурка Санта Клауса, коробки с подарками, игрушки для украшения елки, открытки), музыкальное сопровождение.
Примечание: ведущие роли исполняют учащиеся средних или старших классов. Младшие школьники готовят лишь стихи наизусть, сюжет сценария им не открывается полностью, поэтому во время праздника они полны приятного удивления и радости.

Showgirl: Hello, dear boys and girls. Hello, dear parents.
We are very glad to see you here. We celebrate Christmas today. We shall sing songs and
dance, play games. We hope you will enjoy the party.
On the 25th of December people celebrate Christmas, a great holiday, which is loved by
children and adults; when everything is decorated with lights and toys;
Christmas is the best holiday for most British families.

Санта и его помощники гномы готовятся к
рождеству. Они читают письма детей, готовят по их
заказам подарки, ведут книгу об их поведении,
записывают и плохие и хорошие поступки. А затем
складывают подарки в мешок к Сантa Клаусу. Словом
приближается Рождество, всё надо успеть. Давайте
и мы заглянем туда.
