ХОД УРОКА
I. Организационный момент
Teacher: Good morning, all! Stand up! Sit down, please! Who is on duty today?
Pupil: I am.
Teacher: I expect no one is away?
Monitor: Nobody is. All are present.
Well now. Let's begin. Today we are going to speak about travelling and tourism. I doubt
anyone can imagine modern life without travelling and holidays are a wonderful chance to
relax, have fun and explore new places and countries.
Today we shall have a competition of 3 teams.
II. Речевая зарядка.
Let’s start. Could you tell me what makes реоple spend time and money on travelling and sightseeing? What are the reasons for travelling?
Pupils:
– to have a rest;
– to learn a lot of new and interesting things about foreign people and foreign
countries;
– to see different ways of life;
– to practice language;
– to try different food;
– to meet people, to make friends.
III. Основная часть (говорение, чтение, аудирование, письмо).
Teacher: I absolutely agree with you! Travelling broadens our
mind .So let’s begin our journey. Divide into teams and let’s do the tasks.

Задание на развитие навыков диалогической речи: раздача карточек с вопросами.
Teacher: When you are in a foreign country you ask a lot of questions to find out information about various things. Your next task is to change the questions to a more polite form .I’ll give you 5 minutes to do the task. (Приложение 5)
Задание на проверку лексики и знание особенностей национального характера различных культур.
Teacher: And now our next contest! Travelling around the world a person meets a lot of people. Almost every nation has a reputation of some kind. Choose, underline, read and translate adjectives which go with the Russians, Americans and British.1 point for each correct word. (Приложение 6)
IV. Подведение итогов:
Teacher: It was our last contest .Our tour is coming to an end. I think we covered the subject quite thoroughly. Did you find it interesting?
