"Летние каникулы. Повторение Past Simple & Present Perfect" на уроке английского языка

Цель: повторение употребления английского глагола.

Задачи:

• Повторить употребление глагола в Past Simple и Present Perfect;
• Развивать навык устной речи в теме «Летние каникулы»;
• Развивать навык техники чтения при изучении темы «Летние каникулы»;
• Воспитывать интерес к учебному предмету.

Тип урока: комбинированный.

Оборудование: учебник; проектор; презентация; карточки со значением, словами – маркерами и формулами каждого из времен; карточки с заданиями по чтению.

Ход урока

I. Introduction

Teacher: Good morning, dear boys and girls! I`m very glad to see you!

T  →P1, P2, … (устный фронтальный опрос)

• How are you?
• Who is on duty today?
• Who is absent today?
• What date is it today?

Teacher: Today we are revising Past Simple and Present Perfect and speaking about your summer holidays.

II. Grammar  revision

• When does the action take place in Past Simple and Present Perfect? (Приложение 1)
• What words help you to understand each of these tenses?
• What are the formulas of the tenses?

III. Warming – up

Teacher: Let`s pronounce the tongue – twister and find the verbs of Past Simple and Present Perfect.

«Betty bought a bit of butter, but the butter Betty bought was bitter. Betty bought another bit of butter to make the bitter butter better, but the butter Betty bought was also bitter!»

Учитель читает скороговорку вслух, затем дети вслед за учителем повторяют хором, читают про себя, затем учитель проверяет каждого индивидуально. Учащиеся находят глаголы в Past Simple и Present Perfect.

Teacher: What activities do you associate with the holiday? Работа в группе. (Учащиеся получают карточки и вписывают вид занятия для каждого из них) (Приложение 2)

Teacher: Look through the words and word combinations in Ex. 2.1., p. 7. Say which of these activities have you never heard? (Учащиеся просматривают слова и словосочетания)

P1: We have never heard about hitchhiking. (Из каждой группы 1 учащийся выражает свое мнение о незнакомой деятельности)

IV. Reading

Ex. 2.3., p. 8.

1. Teacher: Read the texts and check if you were right (учащиеся читают текст).
2. Write the words correctly:
   1) e r s m u m;
   2) s d e n p;
   3) с m a p;
   4) y h i a o d l;
   5) n g a r t r i g l v e l.

Key:

1. summer;

• Teacher: Say True or False. (Учащиеся получают карточки с утверждениями) (Приложение 3)
  1) Rolling down a hill is an activity, when you climb the hill.
  2) Putting together a jigsaw puzzle is an activity, when you gather pieces together to see the whole picture.
  3) Trading baseball cards is an activity, when boys collect the cards with a picture of a baseball player and trade them among their friends.
  4) Making fruit cubes is an activity, when children put fruits into the ice-cube.
  5) Hitchhiking is an activity, when people travel by signalling to drivers and stopping the cars.

Key: 1 – F, 2 – T, 3 – T, 4 – F, 5 – T.

V. Listening

Teacher: Listen to me and answer the question what activity is it about? (Приложение 4)

(Учащиеся прослушивают и отвечают на вопрос).

Teacher: Improve that trading baseball cards is an interesting activity. Work in pairs. (1 учащийся высказывает положительные черты, а другой - отрицательные).

VI. Speaking

Teacher: Let`s play «The snowball». You should say a few words about activities which we`ve read. The first begins, the second repeats the sentences of the first and adds his sentence. At the end we`ll have the whole text (Первый учащийся начинает, второй повторяет предложение первого и добавляет свое и т.д. В результате  получается целый текст).

VII. Writing

Teacher: Put the verbs using Past Simple or Present Perfect in writing (Учащиеся выполняют работу в тетради, 1 - у доски).

• We (to be) in the museum last week [3].
• He (to give) me the dictionary today.
• I (to play) computer games yesterday.
• What he (to do) yesterday?
• He (to be) to Paris this year.
