The aims: to develop pupils’ skills in reading, thinking
To develop their abilities in speaking about weather

Warm up:

1. New lesson:

  1. Look at the blackboard! The theme of our lesson is ‘Seasons’ Your associations: Good, rain , snow, shine, beach, holiday, hot, bad, nice, swim…etc.
  2. Now, please make up word combinations with these words: Good weather, holiday photos, go to the beach, bad weather, swim in the sea…etc.
  3. Now make up sentences with these word combinations: I like good weather. These are my holiday photos. We like to swim in the sea.

2. Answer the questions:

How many seasons are there in a year? What are they?

How many months are there in a year? What are they?

How many months are there in each season? Name them.

3. Make up sentences with these words:

4. Listen and name the seasons:
