Тема: Transport. Travelling to London.
Задачи:
- активизировать лексику по теме «Транспорт. Путешествие» в речи учащихся.
- познакомить учащихся с глаголом have to do smth и научить их употреблять его в речи.
- совершенствовать речевые навыки учащихся по теме.
- привить учащимся уважение к культуре страны изучаемого языка.
Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, карточки.
Ход урока.
1. Орг. момент.
(на экране карта России, транспортные средства)
What do you think we are going to speak about? Do you like the theme? Do you know means of traveling well?
2. Фон. зарядка.
(на экране виды транспорта, учащиеся называют их и читают рифмовки)
Can you name these means of transport?
Plane, train, bus, trolley-bus, boat, ship, car, taxi, bike.
Game BINGO.
3. Речевая зарядка.
Упр.5 стр.214 учебника, на экране.

4. Аудирование.
I have just received a letter from my pen-friend, who invited us to London. Listen to this letter, please, and then you’ll answer some questions.
Dear friends,
Thank you for the letter. I was very glad to know that you study English and have some good results.
I think it will be interesting for you to go to London and practice English. You’ll see some beautiful places of our capital: Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Palace and Westminster Abbey, St.Paul’s Cathedral, Hyde Park. They are known all over the world.
You’ll be waited at the airport and have comfortable rooms in a hotel.

Well, we’ve been to London and seen its sights. What place did you like most of all?
7. Чтение.
But now look at the picture. It’s the British Museum. It has a large reading-room. To get there you should read well. So let’s read the text “Magic Mustard” to check your home task.

8. Игра «крестики-нолики»
Look at the blackboard. You can see phrases on our theme: by bus, by plane, on foot, by train, by boat, by ship, by car, by taxi, by bike. Use them in sentences to say how we can travel
2 команды учеников, назвав правильно предложение, участник команды выходит к доске и зачеркивает использованную фразу.
9. Грамматика. Введение нового материала.
(на табличке фраза have to а на экране дорожные знаки.)
Do you know the road signs? They are very important when you travel.
What have we to do if we see this sign?
We have to stop if see this sign.
Закрепление нового материала. Игра.
(на экране по очереди появляются дорожные знаки, а ученики должны выполнить действия и прокомментировать свои действия)
10. Подведение итогов. Рефлексия.

Can you express your feelings? What are your emotions?
Ученики рисуют на листочках свои впечатления от урока.
