Ход урока
1. Организационный момент.
Good morning, children! I am glad to see you. We will speak about animals, we’ll discuss the problem of the Zoos.
2. Фонетическая зарядка.
Стихотворение “My dream”
I love all kinds of animals
Dogs and cats and rabbits.
I love all kinds of animals,
Despite their little habits.
If I had tons of money,
D’you know what I would do?
I would buy lots of animals
And have my own zoo.
But they wouldn’t be in cages,
They would be free to run around.
And there’s one thing they would feel
And that is safe and sound.

3. Речевая разминка.
Let’s play a snowball game “Animals”. The first pupil will name one word, the second pupil will repeat it and add another word. The winner is the pupil who will repeat the chain of all words.
Let’s ask questions about your pets. (ученик выходит к доске, остальные задают ему вопросы)
- Have you got a pet?
- What colour is your pet?
- What can your pet do?
- What does your pet eat and drink?
- Who looks after your pet?
- What characteristics of your pet can you name?
- Do you like your pet and why?
Tell us about your pet. (один ученик рассказывает о своем питомце)
4. Тренировка навыков устной речи и аудирования
Have you ever been to the zoo?
Let’s listen to the dialogue. You will answer the questions on this dialogue.
- Hi,…… ! Where are you going?
- Hi, ……! I am going to the zoo.
- To the zoo? You like to watch animals in cages, don’t you?
- I want to learn more about animals. There are many kinds of animals and insects in the zoo.
- I think the animals are unhappy if they don’t live in the wild.
- You are right. But zoos can help endangered animals.
- Have you been to the zoo at feeding time?
- Yes, I have. It’s very interesting, believe me.

6. Совершенствование лексических навыков и навыков письма
Let’s make a story about the zoo. You have cards with the texts. The words are missing, put them down. The words are given below.

Учащиеся вписывают пропущенные слова, затем один учащийся зачитывает свой текст, остальные проверяют, отмечают + верные ответы, – неверные.
7. Обучение монологическому высказыванию.
Организуется работа в парах. Ученики должны выбрать предложения “за” и “против” зоопарков из предложенных, наклеить их на лист бумаги. Получается монологическое высказывание, заметка. Затем некоторые из них зачитываются, на доске подводится подсчёт голосов за и против зоопарков.

Animals don’t have enough space.
People feed baby animals.
There are not enough forests for the animals.
Animals can’t eat the food that they have in the wild.
Animals get tired (устают) of visitors.
