may take much of your time, but if the members of the family help, if each one has his

somebody else. 1 P1: Usually our family does repairing itself if it’s not difficult. It may be a broken table or a chair, then my father and brother do it. And as for me, I like to see, but it’s not very good. P2: Well, as far as I am concerned, when my shoes are rather worn, I take them to the shoemaker’s and say that they need repairing. 2 P3: Everybody knows how pleasant and necessary it is to have clean clothes. I think even children can wash small things very nicely. It’s not very difficult, but if the family has one big washing, we use washing-machine. It’s great!! P4: Yes, you are right. And if the weather is fine, it is good to hang the wet clothes out in the fresh air. They smell so pleasant when they are dry. 3 P5: Domestic duties take much of my time. Every day I wash or sweep the floor in the kitchen, dust the furniture, make up my bed. P6: Well, my granny lives in the country. And life there requires much more time and effort. Every day people have to chop wood and take water for cooking and washing, water their vegetable garden. 4 P7: I think it’s pleasant to feed and walk my dog, to water flowers, and after a meal and after you finish drinking tea, the cups and plates are washed and put away. P8: Well, it’s unpleasant when our rooms are untidied, the clothes are dirty, shoes and bed are not in order. T: Ok. Now let’s cheque your home task. I asked you to make up your own dialogue with such words as a pail, a brush, an alarm-clock and a bowl. Now take them, please! Dialogue 1 – Shall I help you wash? Dialogue 2 – Will you help me, please, my boy? Dialogue 3 – Excuse me, could you help me please?! T: Ok. Children, what poem about work have we learnt lately?
