Тема: There is no place like home.

Цель урока:

Формирование коммуникативных умений устной монологической и диалогической речи.

Задачи урока:

Практические:

  • Актуализировать знания по темам “Rooms”, “Furniture”, “Prepositions of place”.
  • Учить понимать на слух текст на знакомом материале.
  • Развивать навыки устной диалогической речи.

Развивающие:

  • Развивать способности аудирования описательного текста.
  • Формирование мотивации у младших школьников к изучению иностранного языка.

Воспитательные:

  • Приобщение младших школьников к новому социальному – описанию своего дома.
  • Воспитывать уважительное отношение к окружающим.

Материалы: карточки с изображением мебели, плакат “Дом”, карточки с пословицей “There is no place like home”.

ТСО: МР3 плеер, мультимедийный проектор, экран, компьютер, телевизор.

ХОД УРОКА

I. Приветствие. Организационный момент

Teacher: Good morning dear boys and girls. Today we’ll talk about homes.

Teacher: Do you live in a flat or in a house?

P1: I live in a flat. (I live in a house)

Teacher: Is it big or small?

P2: It is big (It is not big. It’s small)

Teacher: How many rooms have you got?

P3: We have 2 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet.

Teacher: Have you got a room of your own?

P4: Yes I have. (No I haven’t)

Teacher: Do you share your room?

P5: I share my room with a sister (a brother, my granny)

Teacher: Let’s check your homework. You had a puzzle. Say the English phrase all together

Teacher: How can we translate it?

(Work with words, prepositions and description of the girl’s room) Teacher: Thank you. Today we have a note from a little girl. She writes about her room. We’ll read and translate the text. Work in chain.

VII. Аудирование

Teacher: Now we’ll listen to the texts. Please open your books page 29 ex. 29. Read the task. Listen to the text. Great! Listening (twice)

Teacher: It’s high time to rest a little. Watch the cartoon and sing the song. “Magic English 4 Happy Houses”

VIII. Активизация устной речи, понимание высказываний на основе изученного материала

Teacher: I have a beautiful house. Help me to furniture it. Listen to my sentences and put the pictures on the poster.

  1. There is a big white bath in the bathroom.
  2. There is a beautiful lamp in the corner of my bedroom
  3. There is a comfortable brown armchair in the living room….

Teacher: Now look at the poster and ask your classmate where something is situated.

Ex: Where is the mirror? It is in the bathroom. (Pair works)

IX. Домашнее задание

Teacher: It’s time to finish our lesson. Your home task is to write texts about your rooms. 10-12 sentences. Work in your note books.
