I. Организационный момент.
- Good morning, children! Glad to see you! I hope you are fine today. Sit down, please.
- Who is on duty?

II. Сообщение темы и цели урока.
The theme of our lesson is “The place we live in” (слайд-1).
Today we are going to learn the new words, revise the words, read, play, describe the pictures and make up dialogues.
III. Фонетическая и речевая зарядка.
- Look at the blackboard, listen and repeat the words after me (слайды-2,3).
A comfortable living-room, a small bedroom, in the hall, a black door, to go by car, to shout at smb., a house key, to lock the door.
- Answer my questions about the place you live in:
- What colour is your country house?
- How many kitchens have you got?
- What colour are the walls in your room?
- Have you got a toilet in your country house?
- What is there behind your house?
- Are there any fruit trees behind your school?
- What is there in front of the teacher’s table?
- What is there behind your school?
- How many bathrooms are there in your house?
- What is there in front of your school?
IV. Работа над темой урока.
1) Повторение лексики прошлого урока и проверка домашнего задания. - Describe the place you live in (рисунок).
2) Введение новой лексики (упр.9, с. 116) [1] (слайды- 4,5).
Listen and repeat after the announcer (магнитофон).
3) Закрепление лексики.
- Look at the blackboard and “furnish” the rooms of the flat. (На магнитной доске план квартиры и набор мебели).
4) Write down the missing words (карточка).

Карточки.
Одному учащемуся дается карточка Б (комната с мебелью), а другому - карточка А (такая же комната, но без мебели). Учащиеся не показывают карточки друг другу.
| Карточка А. Ты ни разу не был в квартире своего одноклассника. Ты не знаешь, как расположена мебель в его комнате (в общей комнате, в кухне). Задай вопросы (общие или разделительные) и нарисуй план его комнаты. Потом опиши комнату и покажи свой рисунок однокласснику. |
| Карточка Б. Твой одноклассник хочет узнать, как расположена мебель в твоей комнате (в общей комнате, в кухне).Ответь на его вопросы и выслушай, как он описывает твою комнату. Реагируй на его рассказ репликами: That’s right или That’s wrong. Исправь неверные предложения (The table isn’t in the middle of the room. It is near the window.) Потом покажите свои рисунки друг другу. |

Mr. Black’s House.
Last month Mr. Black bought a new house. The house is very nice and comfortable. There are two floors in the house.
The living-room is not small. It is on the ground floor. There are two windows in it. They are big. The Blacks like to sit in this room in the evenings. John likes to play chess with his father in this room. Marry likes to play the piano.
There are three bedrooms in the house. They are on the first floor. There are large windows and balconies there. On the walls you can see some lovely pictures. The rooms are very nice.
The Browns have a big dining-room. In the middle of the room there is a big table. Round the table we can see chairs. On the table there are plates and cups. The Browns eat there in the mornings and in the evenings.
They have got a hall. There is a hallstand there. They take off their coats, hats and shoes in it.
The Browns like their new house.

- How many rooms are there in their house? Name them, please.
- What do the Browns like to do in the living-room?
