Урок английского языка по теме "School Life"

Цели урока:

1. Повышение эффективности учебного процесса.
2. Развитие личностного потенциала ученика.
3. Развитие коммуникативных навыков.

Задачи:

• Образовательные:
• формировать и развивать коммуникативные умения учащихся; умение воспринимать на слух и понимать небольшие сообщения.
• Развивающие:
• развивать языковые, интеллектуальные способности, познавательный интерес школьников, готовность к коммуникации;
• формировать логическое мышление;
• вырабатывать умения и навыки групповой работы.
• Воспитательные:
• формировать уважение и интерес к культуре и народу страны изучаемого языка;
• воспитывать интерес к учению и формировать познавательную активность;
• пробуждать творческие начала личности.

ТСО: мультимедийный проектор, компьютер, экран, мультимедийная презентация (слайды 1-13), магнитофон, карточки, пальчиковая кукла.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

– Good morning, children! Glad to see you! I hope you are fine today. Sit down, please.

– Who is on duty?

– Who is away?

– What date is it today?

– What day of the week is it today?

II. Сообщение темы и цели урока.

The theme of our lesson is “School Life”. (слайд 1)

Today we are going to revise the words about school life, learn the new words, read, write the test

and retell the text.

III. Фонетическая и речевая зарядка.

– Look at the blackboard, listen and repeat the words after me. (слайд 2)

“They go to school at eight,”

Says little Kate.

“At school they read and write,
Their class is large and light.”
Answer my questions, please:
– When do they go to school?
– What do they do at school?
– Is their class small and dark?
– Is their class large and light?

IV. Работа над темой урока.

1) Повторение лексики прошлого урока и проверка домашнего задания.

3) Закрепление лексики.

a) Listen to the story and raise your hands when you hear the new words you have learnt at the lesson.

“I like sport and I spend much time on the sports ground. But I am in the 8^th form and I haven’t much free time. I have got many subjects on the timetable at school. I learn well. My favourite subject is English. It is very important because I want to be a teacher of English. I like to read books of the famous English writers. I learn how to get on with people. They are very interesting. It is a pity when these books are over.

b) Затем учащиеся переводят предложения с новыми словами на русский язык.

VI. Обучение говорению.

– Have you recognized the boy? (пальчиковая кукла)

The boy is your real friend. Are you glad to see him? Greet him.

• Peter is in the classroom to help you to learn English better. Peter is going to ask you questions about your school life. (Один из учеников в роли Peter).
• Make up dialogues about your school life.

VII. Обучение аудированию.

a) Listen to the story and answer the questions.

“Now I want to describe my classroom. Listen to me attentively and then try to describe it.

I would like to tell you some things about my classroom. It is comfortable and always clean. There are 20 desks in it. The teacher’s table is near the window. There are 3 big

windows and one door in my classroom. The blackboard and the floor are green. There are nice pictures on the walls. There are three bookcases in the classroom. There are many books in the bookcases and some of them are very interesting. We often read books in class. I study Maths, History, Natural Study, P.E., Handicraft, English and so on. I like my classroom.”

Now try to answer the questions:

1. Is the classroom comfortable?
2. How many desks are there in the classroom?
3. Where is the teacher’s table?
4. Are there any pictures on the wall?

b) Try to retell this classroom. This table will help you. (слайд-10)

Introduction.

Yesterday we had 5 lessons: Art, English, Maths, P.E. and Russian. Listen and guess which lesson was the first, the second, the third, the fourth and the fifth.

Text № 1.

At the first lesson we read, listened to the text and made up dialogues. We did exercises orally and in writing. We asked and answered the questions. We described pictures. We spoke about the weather and our school. We didn’t speak Russian.

Text № 2.

At the second lesson we had paper and pencils of different colours. We drew and painted pictures. The teacher drew on the board. We drew on papers and got marks for our pictures.

Text № 3.

At the third lesson we wrote. We wrote on the board and in our exercise-books. We counted. We did sums and problems. The lesson wasn’t easy.

Text № 4.

We read, wrote, listened and spoke at the fourth lesson. We did exercises orally and in writing. We asked and answered the questions. We learnt to write difficult words and sentences. We wrote dictations.

Text № 5.

At the fifth lesson we did exercises. We ran, jumped, played. We had this lesson in the gymnasium. We liked the lesson.
