I. Начало урока:
1. Greeting.
Good morning children. Sit down, please.
2. Giving the topic and the aim of the lesson.
Слайд № 1. Our topic is “Home, sweet home”. Today we are going to describe our flats, and revise our grammar material and vocabulary.
3. Phonetic drill.
Look at the screen, here you can see the tongue twister, listen to me very attentively:
Don’t poke your nose into things you don’t know. (слайд №2)
Repeat after me. And now let’s read it together.
4. Warming up.
For the beginning open ex. 1 (приложение 2) on your computers. Here you can see jumbled phrase, put the words in the right order. You have one minute.
Now let’s check our phrase (слайд №3).
How can you explain this phrase?
II. Основная часть урока.
1. Brainstorming .
Okay, well done. Now let's revise our vocabulary. Open ex 2 (приложение 3) on your computers. In the left column you can see the definitions of the words, you should match the word with it’s definition. You have 2 minutes.
Now let’s check (слайд №4).
I see you know the words on the topic. Now let’s do more difficult task. Let’s do the crossword. Open ex 3 (приложение 4) on your computers. Just click on the box with the number of question, and you will see the question over the crossword.
You should write the answer in the box following the question. You have 10 minutes. Now let’s look at the screen and check your answers (слайд №5).
2. Working with the text.
Open your WB on page 15 look at ex13. Here you can see the text about Steve’s house. Now let’s read it one by one. P1 start please. That’s enough. Thank you. Next please. Now close your books, and open ex 4 (приложение 5) on your computers, here you can see the text but some words are missed, you should fill in the right words into the text. You have 5 minutes.
Now let’s check (слайд №6).
Look at the screen (слайд №7) please, you can see the table here . Look at the headings. Can you explain them? Well done. Now let’s fill in the missing information from the text in the worksheets which I’ll give you out (приложение 6).
Now help me to fill in the table.
3. Speaking.
Well done. Now you should speak about Steve’s house using information from the table. For example: Steve lives in a pretty house near the city centre.

Good for you. Now I want to know about places you live in. Describe it like you did it earlier. You have 3 minutes to make notes on the other side of the paper. You may use the questions from the screen (слайд №8) as a plan. Start please.
