Цель: Чтение буквы «а» в открытом, закрытом, безударном слогах, в сочетаниях a+r+согласная, a+r+e, a+ir.
Задачи:
- развивающие: развивать способности к зрительной и слуховой дифференциации, к выявлению языковых закономерностей, к непроизвольному и произвольному запоминанию.
- учебные: формировать навыки чтения буквы «а» в открытом, закрытом и безударном слогах, в сочетаниях a+r+ согласная, a+r+e, a+ir, по транскрипции, развивать скорость чтения, навыки аудирования; формировать произносительные навыки, лексические и грамматические навыки.
- воспитательные: воспитывать уважительное отношение к достопримечательностям страны изучаемого языка и своей собственной страны, воспитывать положительное отношение к изучению английского языка, воспитывать потребность и способность работать в группах.

Оснащение урока: презентация «Буква А», рисунки лабиринта, радуги, яблони, яблок (по 7 для каждой группы), буквы «А», модального глагола «Can», карточки со словами, рисунки животных, картинки с видами достопримечательностей Лондона, Москвы, аудиокассета, магнитофон, проектор, таблицы для оценивания, жетоны, конверты с домашними заданиями.
В начале урока весь класс делится на две группы (5-6 человек). Ученики сами придумывают название команды. За каждый правильный ответ дается жетон. Каждая группа получает листочки с таблицами (дана ниже) и заполняют ее в течение всего урока.

3. It is great that you are brave, clever and curious. Today we have an unusual lesson.
Look at the blackboard. What do you see? Read: “The Magic Letter A”. Translate it into Russian. And what is it? Yes, it’s a maze.

We’ll do different tasks. We’ll read, play, answer the questions, watch the presentation … .All these tasks are connected with the letter “A”.
For your right answer you’ll have a card.
If your answer is not right, you’ll return me the card.
If your answer is in Russian, you’ll have no card.
At the end of the lesson you’ll have marks for your work.

Task 2. Two students from each group go to the blackboard and describe the pictures. The first student describes the picture as it is, the second one says what is wrong and corrects it. (For the correct sentences the students receive the cards.) по 4 рисунка для каждой группы)

10. Task 5. Let’s play. “Flowers and Bees”.
One half of the group is flowers the second one –bees. Flowers have cards with words, bees have cards with the transcription of these words. Bees fly and say [z z z ]. Your task is to find your partner and read the words correctly. (The students who read the words correctly receive the cards.)

12. Task 7. Apple-tree.
Each group takes 7 apples and write on them 7 words with the Letter “A” that has 7 different sounds. For example: apple [æ]. Нарисовать яблоню и украсить ее словами-яблоками с гласной «а».
2 students from each group go to the blackboard and read the words and sounds. They hang their apples on the apple-tree.

I see you are brave, clever and curious. The letter “A” is happy because the maze is opened and it is transformed into a rainbow. Mr Can is happy too. Let’s sing the song “Rainbow” together.
