- Формировать умения и навыки чтения и говорения по теме
- Обучение отвечать на вопросы, тем самым выражать свои мысли и мнения
- Воспитание потребности слушать и понимать друг друга
- Воспитание уважительного отношения к культуре изучаемой страны

ХОД УРОКА
I. Организационный момент. Сообщение темы и целей урока.
Teacher: Good-morning, friends!
Students: Good-morning, teacher!
Teacher: I’m very glad to see you, sit down please!
Today we’ll go on an excursion to the UK. During it we’ll speak about different kinds
of transport and road signs which we can see in the streets in Britain. Also we’ll
discuss why do people like to travel and what we can do during our travelling.
I think that a lot of people all over the world are fond of travelling. Modern life
is impossible without it. Every day thousands of people travel either on business or for
pleasure.

Teacher: Besides double-decker buses in the UK there are other kinds of
buses. You can see them in these pictures.
Teacher: As in Russia in the UK there are buses stops. People standing on
these bus stops are very polite. (Слайд 5)
Teacher: Now, I want to show you other means of transport. Trolley-buses
in the UK. If you go by trolley-buses in the UK, you can see streets, shops, people,
museums, theatres, cinemas, monuments, bars, cafes and so on. (Слайд 6)
Teacher: Next kind of transport is plane. (Слайд 7)
Teacher: Tube in the UK is the most important kind of transport because
it is the busiest underground system in the world. Every day the tube carries millions of
passengers. (Слайд 8)
Teacher: And of course you can travel by trains in the UK. During
travelling by trains you can see different cities and towns, stations, villages, beautiful
nature, people, mountains and plains, rivers and lakes. (Слайд 9)
Teacher: In the streets of the UK you can see some road signs. The
traffic is impossible without road signs. Some of the signs are similar with Russian road
signs.
V. Развитие монологической речи, используя активную лексику урока. (Слайд 9)
Teacher: Imagine that you are going to travel to abroad. Tell me
please, What things will you need during your travelling? Make up sentences using these
constructions: I’ll need…; I will also….; ….not necessary.
Words: a passport, a sleeping bag, a travel guide, a ticket, a camera, a
visa, a map, a health insurance, a money belt, a first aid kit.
