Цель урока: ознакомить учащихся с новым лексическим и страноведческим материалом о Британских газетах, закрепить полученные знания.
Задачи:
Образовательные
- Развивать умение поискового чтения(scanning) и чтения с пониманием основной идеи текста (skimming)
- Развивать умение выборочно понимать необходимую информацию в воспринимаемом на слух тексте (listening for specific inf-n)
- Обсудить 2 типа Британских газет и сравнить их с русскими газетами.
- Охарактеризовать газету
Воспитательные :
- Развивать умение выражать свое мнение и аргументировать
- Развивать умение работать в группе
Развивающие:
- Развивать умение добывать необходимую информацию, анализировать и обобщать ее, делать выводы.
Возможные проблемы: групповая работа может занять больше времени, чем я планирую.

4) Skim the text on page 107 and find the names of 2 main kinds the newspapers in the UK. (Слайд. Приложение 1)
5) Scan the text and answer 4 questions on page 107
6) Look at the photos of the British newspapers on page 108. And say which of these newspapers are tabloids or broadsheets: Explain your answers. Work in group
7) Let's listen & check your ideas.
