Цель: обобщить знания учеников по теме “Clothing”.

Задачи:

образовательные:

  • формировать навыки самостоятельного решения коммуникативных задач,
  • углубить знания учащихся по теме,

развивающие:

  • активизировать навыки говорения,

воспитательные:

  • формировать навыки коллективной деятельности,
  • повышать интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка.

Оборудование: картинки по теме: “Clothes”, магнитофон, аудиозапись, выставка детских работ с модной одеждой.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

Teacher: Good morning, children. I’m glad to see you.

What a fine morning!
The day is sunny and bright.
My dear children, am I right?

Pupils: Yes, you are right.

Т. Do you like English lessons?

Р. Yes, we do.

Т. Are you ready for the lesson?

Р. Yes, we are.

Т. Do you like to sing?

Р. Yes, we do.

Т. Let’s sing together a very good song “The Kitten’s Clothes”.

Jeans and trousers,
Sweaters and shirts,
Socks and tights,
And jackets and skirts.
T-shirts, shoes,
High boots and mittens,
These are the clothes
Of the kittens.

(Дети хором поют песню под музыку.)

T. That’s nice. Today is a special day. We are going to play. We’ll revise everything that we learned.

T. Let’s play a game: “Shopping List”. (Дети встают в круг, первый играющий называет предмет одежды, который он хочет купить, следующий игрок должен повторить этот же предмет и добавить свой и т.д.)

P1: I’ll go shopping. I’ll buy a hat.

P2: I’ll go shopping. I’ll buy a hat and a dress.

P3: I’ll go shopping. I’ll buy A hat, a dress and a skirt…

T. Look at the pictures and answer the questions.

  • What do you wear when it is cold?
  • What do you wear when it is warm?
  • What do you wear when it is hot?
  • What do boys wear?
  • What do girls wear?
  • What do you wear in winter ( in spring, in summer, in autumn)?
  • What do you like to wear?
  • What do you wear at school?
  • What do you wear when you go to the party?
  • What will you put on tomorrow?
  • What will your sister (brother) put on tomorrow?

T. Very well, children. And now listen to the riddles. What is it? Who will be the winner?

  1. This word starts with the letter “m”. Boys and girls wear them in winter to warm their hands.
  2. This word starts with the letter “s”. People wear this when it is cold.
  3. This word starts with the letter “T”. Children wear this when it is warm or hot.
  4. This word starts with the letter “t”. Boys wear them at home and at school too.

(Answers: 1. mittens, 2. sweater, 3. T-shirt, 4. trousers)

T. Well, children. Let’s play a game “Please, Mr. Crocodile”.

(Дети стоят по одну сторону “реки”. Они должны перебраться на другую сторону. Если на них нет той одежды, которую называет Мистер Крокодил, они всё-таки пытаются перебежать на другую сторону, но он их ловит. Кого поймает, тот встаёт на место ведущего.)

P. Please, Mr. Crocodile,
May we cross the water,
To see your ugly daughter
Floating on the water
Like a cup and saucer?
Mr. Crocodile: Yes, if you’re wearing (a sweater)

T. I know that you’ve learned some poems about your clothes. Recite them, please.

(Дети рассказывают стихи об одежде.)

My Raincoat
I have a raincoat
Fine and slick.
That makes the water
Slide off quick.
My Galoshes
I have galoshes
Nice and stout,
That keep the mud
And water out.
Shoes
I have galoshes for rainy days,
And sandals for the sun,
Shoes for playing out of doors,
And party shoes for fun.

Lera: Ann! How many dresses have you got?

Ann: Let me see… A green dress…A red dress… A white dress…

Lera: Three?

Ann: No… A blue dress… An orange dress… A black dress… A yellow dress…

Lera: Have you got seven dresses?

Ann: Yes, I have. And you?

Lera: Just one. I’ve got one dress and five pairs of jeans.

T. Thank you, girls. The dialogue is very interesting.

And now the game “You Look Terrific!”

(Дети играют парами и делают друг другу комплименты.)

I like your jacket. You look great!

IV. Проверка домашнего задания

T. Dear friends! Now we’ll have The Fashion Show! Fashion plays a great role in our life. You want to be nice and attractive! We are going to start with our show!

(Дома дети готовили модели для “знаменитого дома моделей”: они подыскивали фотографии из журналов и каталогов и готовили описание своих моделей В процессе шоу ученики описывают модели.)

Example: Here is Lidia. She is wearing a yellow skirt with a white blouse, big sunglasses and a nice hat.
