Цель урока: развивать интерес к изучению английского языка у учащихся второго года обучения.
Задачи урока:
- совершенствовать лексические навыки, применяя их в новых ситуациях;
- развивать навыки выразительного чтения стихов;
- ознакомить учащихся с дополнительной информацией;
- прививать навыки культурного поведения.
Пояснительная записка: на тему Food в 3-м классе (второй год обучения) планируется 14 часов, данный урок является итоговым после изучения темы. Этому уроку предшествует большая подготовительная работа, которая заключается не только в изучении тематического материала, но также и в привлечении дополнительной информации. Урок проводиться между двумя группами одного класса, на которые ученики поделены для изучения английского языка. Урок начинается со стихотворения “Who Likes What?”, которое ученики рассказывают хором. Затем ученики накрывают стол под песню “Help Your Mother Lay the Table”, они ставят чашки на заранее сделанные подставки в виде фруктов, на которых учитель написал загадки о еде. Отгадывая эти загадки, ученики зарабатывают очки для своей команды (группы). Далее команды обмениваются кроссвордами, сделать которые было их домашним заданием. Они отгадывают их, также зарабатывая баллы. Конкурс стихов о еде, которые были предварительно выучены, отгадывание запахов продуктов принесут им тоже очки. Перед подведением итогов две девочки из разных команд расскажут об английском и русском чае, принесут своей команде баллы и предложат English tea or Russian tea. Завершается этот урок чаепитием и уборкой со стола под песню “Help Your Mother Clean the Table.”

b) English people like tea, too. They drink it a lot. English people drink tea from cups, not from glasses. They like to have tea with milk. That is why tea with milk is called English tea.
