План урока:

Цель урока:

• развитие коммуникативных способностей учащихся,
• умения вести монологическую, диалогическую речь в приближённых к реальным ситуациям носителей языка.

Задачи:

1. Активизировать употребление лексики по теме “Характер”.
2. Тренировать учащихся в чтении транскрипции.
3. Практиковать учащихся в аудировании, устной речи, чтении.
4. Повторить употребление общих вопросов.
5. Повторить употребление модального глагола: should, shouldn’t.

Учебные пособия:

1. слайд-презентация, компьютерный диск “Профессор Хиггинс”, раздаточный материал к учебнику Кузовлева В. П.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент.

I’m glad to see you.

2. Let’s get acquainted. Слайд №2

I am ...(polite, sociable, tidy...)

3. How are you? Слайд №3

I see that everybody is all right, so our lesson begins.

4. I see that you are so different. I think it depends on your character.

Person’s character is the theme of our lesson.

What character features does this girl have? Try to describe her.

Let’s come to the conclusion: she is ...(polite, sociable, tidy...)

And now we shall do it by reading the poem.

Let’s listen to the poem, read it and answer the question:

a) Listen to the poem.

b) Repeat the poem after the reader.

c) Read a poem in a chain like way.

d) Answer the question.

There is a little dialogue on the other side of your picture.
