Author: Once upon a time there lived a Hen.
You can see an apple garden. The pleasant music is heard. The birds are twittering. The hen is looking for a worm. Suddenly an apple falls on the hen’s head.
Grey Hen: Cluck, cluck! What has happened? Oh, the sky is falling! The sky is falling! I must go and tell the turkey. (The hen goes away).
Music: “Old Mc Donald Had a Farm”. [2]
A duck appears. The duck is dancing. The hen meets the duck.
Duck: Quack, quack! Oh, hello! Where are you going, Grey Hen?
Grey Hen: Oh! The sky is falling! I am going to tell the turkey.
(At that moment the duck is under the apple tree. An apple falls on the duck’s head.)
Duck: Oh, yes! Quack, quack! The sky is falling! May I go with you?
Grey Hen: Yes, you may. Let’s go to the turkey together.
Music: “Cindy”.[3]
A goose appears. The goose is holding the photo of his fiancee. He is looking at the photo, dancing and singing about Cindy.
Goose: I’ll marry you someday.
The hen, the duck and the goose meet.
Goose: Hissy, hissy! Oh, hello! What’s the matter? Where are you going?
Grey Hen and Duck: The sky is falling!!! The sky is falling!!! We are going to tell the turkey!
Goose: Hissy, hissy. Oh, it’s so terrible!
(At that moment the goose is under the apple tree. An apple falls on the goose’s head.)
Goose: Yes, the sky is falling! May I join you?
Grey Hen: Yes, you may. Let’s go to the turkey together.
Music.
A fox appears. The fox meets the hen, the duck and the goose.
Fox: Oh, hello! What’s the matter?
Duck: Quack, quack! Oh! Bad news! The sky is falling!
Grey Hen and Goose: Yes, the sky is falling!
Fox: Where are you going?
Grey Hen, Duck and Goose: We are going to tell the turkey!
Fox: Oh, the sky is not falling in my house. Let’s go to my house.
Grey Hen: Very well!
Duck, Goose: OK!
Music. Dancing, they go to the fox’s house.
Fox: This is my house. Go in, please. Make yourselves comfortable.
They sit down on the chairs.
Fox (to herself): Oh, I can have wonderful dinner! I am so hungry!.
Music: “The Wabash Cannonball”. [3]
The grey hen, the duck, the goose and the fox are dancing.
Fox: Let’s go to the kitchen! To have dinner.
(They go away. Their voices are heard.).
Voices: Help! Help! Cluck! Quack! Hissy!
The fox appears.
Fox: Oh, my dinner was delicious! Now I am not hungry!
The fox is dancing. (Music: “The Rattlin’ Bog”). [3]
