Образовательные задачи :

  1. Обобщить лексико-грамматический материал по теме “Хобби и интересы”.
  2. Активизировать употребление в речи учащихся речевых образцов в Past Simple.
  3. Совершенствовать навыки монологической и диалогической речи.
  4. Практиковать учащихся в чтении и аудировании с различной стратегией.

Развивающие задачи:

  1. Развивать способность к речевому общению на АЯ.
  2. Развивать умение работать в парах и группах.
  3. Повышать общую мотивацию с помощью творческой (проектной) работы и личностно-ориентированных вопросов.

Воспитательные задачи:

  1. Способствовать развитию самостоятельности школьников.
  2. Воспитывать внимательное отношение к людям других стран.

Ход урока

I. Подготовка учащихся к учебной деятельности на английском языке.

1. Оргмомент.

T: Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Nice to see you!

PP: Nice to see you,too!

T: Sit down, please. Let’s begin our lesson. Well, please, who is on duty today?

P. (on duty) I am. (сдаёт рапорт, учащиеся повторяют за дежурным).

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

T: To practice the pronunciation, please, give me the past tense of the following verbs:

like ask dance play paint

live wait decide invite visit

PP: like-liked (t) play-played (d) decide-decided (id) and so on.

T: Thank you. It was nice.

3. Речевая зарядка.

a) Слово учителя.

T: So, today we are going to revise the material concerning hobbies and interests. We shall read the text, make dialogues, sing a song, and listen to the conversation between two teenagers. We shall also check your project work, your dialogues and do some grammar exercises for fun.

b) Вопросно-ответные упражнения в Past simple.

T: So, there are a lot of hobbies. Am I right? For example, dancing…(обращается к предметным картинкам).

PP: перечисляют различные виды интересов.

T: Well, a hobby is something we do in our free time. When do we have more free time: at school or on holidays?

P1- I think, on holidays.

T: Do you agree, children?

PP: Yes, we do! Absolutely! Sure!

T: Please, prepare the photos with your holidays, listen to me and answer my questions.

Did you go to the sea?

Did you visit a museum?

Did you travel round Russia?

Did you stay with your aunt or uncle?

Did you climb the mountains?

Did you meet new people?

Did you have fun on your holidays?

PP: Дают положительные или отрицательные ответы
Yes, I did. No, I did not.

c) Контроль домашнего задания (диалоги по фотографиям).

T:You had to prepare the dialogues, did not you? So, let’s listen to some of them.

P1 – P2; P3 – P4 — рассказывают диалоги по личным фотографиям.

II. Обработка ранее изученного материала и овладение различными видами речевой деятельности.

1. Закрепление лексико-грамматического материала по теме “Хобби и интересы”.

a) Работа с посте ром “Paradise Island”.

T: Now please, look at this Paradise Island. These people are also on holidays. There are a lot of places to go and a lot of things to do. So, what can you say about their hobbies? Please, use the expressions to be keen on and to be interested in.

P1 — He is keen on windsurfing.

P2 — She is interested in tennis. и т.д.

b) Лексический пазл.

T: Now kids, look at the blackboard. Here are some of my hobbies. Can you guess?

c) Совершенствование навыков чтения, контроль понимания прочитанного.

T: Now I want you to open your SB p.8 ex.1. Let’s read the text about Eva’s hobbies one by one.

P 1 – P2 – P 3 …— читают текст по очереди.

T: Thank you, now answer the questions, please:

What are her hobbies?

What is she interested in?

What is she keen on?

What is her favourite hobby and why?

d) Защита проектов “My hobby”. Контроль монологической речи.

T: So, Eva has got a lot of hobbies. What about you? What are your hobbies? Are you ready with your projects? Let’s listen to some of them.

P1, P2 — защищают проекты.

T: задаёт вопросы для контроля понимания:

What is his hobby?

What is she interested in?

What is he keen on?

2. Повторение материала по теме “Люди и страны”.

а) Песня о путешествии.SB p.11

T: One of the most interesting hobbies is traveling. Let’s visit some countries singing our “Travel Song”.

PP and a teacher –поют песню.

T: Thank you. Now tell me, please, what countries we visited.

P1 — Athens–Greece

P2 — Madrid–Spain и т.д.

b) Способы путешествия.

T: When people travel they use different methods of transport. Look at the pictures and name them, please (обращается к картинкам с видами транспорта).

P1 — People travel by bus.

P2 — People travel by train. и т.д.

T: Did you travel by helicopter?

Did you travel by tube? и т.д.

P1, P2 –Yes, I did. I traveled by car.

No, I didn’t. I didn’t travel by bike.

c) Совершенствование навыков аудирования.

T: Pilar and Joe — two teenagers-traveled to Oxford. Now you are going to listen to their conversation and complete the small tables.

P 1 – P 12 — Слушают диалог и заполняют таблицы.TB p.123

III. Повторная отработка ранее введенного материала.

1. Работа в парах.

Т: It’s good to meet other people while traveling. So, I’ve got some cards with your new identity. Please, ask your partner to get as much information as possible.

P1 – P 2 — Работают с заданием на карточках: составляют вопросы по имеющейся информации, например:

Mark (What’s your name?)

Spain (Where do you come from?)

House (Where do you live?)

Hot and dry (What’s the climate in your place?)

My mum (Who do you live with?)

Drawing (What’s your hobby?)

T: Thank you. You did great!

2. Грамматический кроссворд (из журнала для изучающих английский язык Speak Out, либо составляет сам учитель или учащиеся старших классов).

T: What I want you to do now is to have some fun with grammar. Please, work in groups of four. If you put the verbs in the puzzle into the correct form, you’ll be able to read a proverb.

P 1 – P4, P 5- P8 –в группах решают кроссворд на знание формы Past Simple английских глаголов, в котором зашифрована пословица “Знание-сила”.

T: If you are ready, let’s check the answer. It is “ Knowledge is power”. Today it means the more you know, the better at English you are.

IV. Заключительный этап

1. Подведение итогов.

T: Thank you, kids. I like your work very much. Can you remember what we did?

PP: We read the text, sang a song, listened to the dialogues, talked about hobbies, etc.

2. Домашнее задание.

T: Your home task will be ex.2 p. 16 in your SB. Please, read and translate small texts about different ways of traveling to school.

3. Выставление оценок.

T: Your marks for the lesson are…(учитель выставляет оценки или вручает заранее подготовленные сертификаты “For being the best at different activities”.)

4. Конец урока.

T: Please, stand up. The lesson is over. Bye- bye!
