Оборудование: карточки с вопросами и ответами для ведущего, карточка учета правильных ответов для помощника.
ХОД ИГРЫ
Условия игры:
Игра начинается с выбора участников и объяснения правил. Игра состоит из 5 раундов.
Тема первого раунда – “Великобритания”,
он длится 3 минуты.
Второй раунд – “Грамматика”, он длится 2,5
минуты.
Третий раунд – “Англоязычные страны”, 2
минуты.
Четвертый раунд – “Британская и
Американская литература и музыка”, 1.5минуты.
Пятый раунд – финальный (в него включены темы
всех предыдущих раундов), 1 минута.
Ведущий задает вопросы по очереди всем игрокам, игроки стараются отвечать быстро и четко, не задерживая остальных. Если игрок не знает ответа на вопрос, он говорит слово “пас” (“pass”). Помощник ведущего следит за временем и ведет учет правильных ответов. По истечении времени подводятся итоги каждого раунда, и объявляется “сильное звено/звенья” каждого раунда. Из игры никто не выбывает. Каждый следующий раунд начинается с игрока, перед которым закончился предыдущий раунд. По итогам шести раундов выявляется “сильное звено” всей игры. Это тот, кто большее количество раз становился “сильным звеном” в течении всей игры. Если таких игроков два или более, то им задаются дополнительные вопросы, и выясняют, кто же из них самое “сильное звено”.

Цели игры:
- подвести итог по изучению темы “Британия с первого взгляда”;
- повысить интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка.
Состав участников: две команды из 5 игроков, болельщики, ведущий.
Оборудование:
- 40 карточек с вопросами,
- 160 карточек с вариантами ответов,
- 40 денежных единиц (фунты стерлингов),
- ответы для ведущего.
Условия игры:
В игре принимают участие две команды из 5 человек. Ведущий задает вопросы в порядке увеличения трудности вопроса и его стоимости каждой команде. Игроки в командах отвечают по очереди. У участников есть три подсказки: 50х50, помощь команды, помощь болельщиков. За правильный ответ команды получают денежное вознаграждение. В конце игры объявляются победители.
