“Учим английский играючи”
Игра сопровождает человека всю его жизнь, делая ее интересной, увлекательной, познавательной. В одну и ту же игру одинаково увлеченно могут играть и ребенок и взрослый. Исходя из этого жизнеутвердившегося факта, закономерно использование элемента игры в процессе обучения.
Игры на уроках повышают у учащихся интерес к предмету, дают стимул для дальнейшего образования, помогают реализовать творческие способности, конечно, являются одним из средств и методов обучения. Они помогают учителю разнообразить уроки, сделать их яркими, красочными, эмоциональными. Играя с учениками, учитель не только обучает их, но и завоевывает уважение, доверие, ибо в игре все равны.
Данный игровой практикум составлен на основе личного педагогического опыта. Предназначен как учителю, так и ученику для овладения английским языком.
Предлагается несколько вариантов игр, каждая из которых может быть использована как фрагмент урока, или как целый урок, или как внеклассное мероприятие. Каждая игра преследует свою цель: активизировать лексику, обобщить изученный материал, проконтролировать полученные знания по теме. Для создания новых вариантов игр целесообразно привлекать учащихся: творческое сотрудничество с учителем – залог положительного результата в изучении английского языка.

Учащиеся: 9–10–11 классы
Preparation.
Step 1 Pupils are divided into 3 teams or each class chooses one player.
They must be ready with their presentation, closely connected with the topic "Music"
Step 2 Teacher prepares questions and recordings. Some pupils may help him
Step3 Don't Forget about assistants and the board of adjudicators.
Step 4 Decorate the classroom. You need balloons, poster, tape–recorders, prizes.
This game consists of 3 contests. You may use recordings of American English and Russian composers. (Greatest Hits of All Times) Variants of this game are prepared in cooperation wit pupils.

Dramatization for fun
Цели и задачи: развитие правильного английского произношения и интонации в зависимости от заданной ситуации, развитие творческих способностей учащихся в театральном искусстве, приобщение к англоязычной литературе и к чтению на английском языке.
Учащиеся: 5–11 классы
P.S.: данное мероприятие можно провести в школе как внеклассное в неделю иностранного языка.
Preparation
Step l
The same extract from English or American literature is given to the pupils, for example, of the fifth or sixth forms. The text must be for 4–5 minutes. Pupils distribute roles among themselves and learn them by heart
Step 2
Each class must perform this extract in its genre: comedy, drama, thriller, horror film or love story.
So throw lots.
Step 3
The teacher helps pupils to work at the text: intonation, pronunciation...
Step 4
Actors rehearse their scenes, make decorations, costumes, think of sound effects.
Step 5
Pupils perform their dramatization.
Step 6
The Board of adjudicators sums the contest up and rewards.
Texts must not be long or short. They must be easily–listened. The context of the text must correspond to pupils' age.
