  Literature as well as painting can describe in an appropriate way sound as well as visual aspects of reality (such as color, light, movement, sound). On this basis, we made the first attempt to check the validity of the similarity of inner forms of graphic and literary works. Trying to find means of expression for the spirit of a work, the pupils built the harmony of interplay of the author's and their own feelings. As a result, there is a row of illustrations to lyrical poems of Adam Mickiewicz, made by the pupils of our art studio. The works show clearly the pupils' tendency to create an independent graphic work on the basis of a literary one.
