Scene 1 (At home)
(Звучит музыка. Золушка подметает пол. Входитотец.)
Cinderella (обнимает отца): Good morning Daddy! I love you!
Father (гладит Золушку по голове): Good morning, dear! How are you?
Cinderella (отвечает грустным голосом): Fine, Daddy! And you?
(Звучит веселая песенка “Goodmorning” Золушка с отцом поют и танцуют.

Входит мачеха с дочерьми.
Stepsister 1 (говорит язвительно): Oh, look at them! They are dancing and having fun while nothing has been done!
Stepmother (надменно): We’ll go to the ball today! You, Basil, go away! Cinderella, clean this mess!
Stepsister 2: But I want my party dress! (Прихорашивается перед зеркалом)
Cinderella: Mummy, may I go to the ball if I clean this all?
Stepmother (достаёт длинный список и вручает Золушке): You can’t go to the ball until you do this all!
(Звучит устрашающая музыка. Мачеха с дочерьми уходит)
Cinderella: (читает вслух): Clean the house, wash the blouse, make some food… Oh, it’s not so good!(плачет)
Scene 2. (Meet Fairy)
(Золушка плачет. Звучит музыка. Появляется фея)
Fairy: Why are you crying, dear? Why? Please, smile, honey and don’t cry!
Cinderella: I can’t go to the ball because my dress is very old! (плачет)
Fairy: I can help you. Look at me! Close your eyes! And… One-two-three! (Взмахивает волшебной палочкой. Звучит музыка)
Cinderella: (изумленно смотрит на своё новое платье) I can’t believe! This dress is mine! Thank you Fairy! You are so kind!
Fairy: (грозит Золушке пальцем) But at 12 o’clock you must be here… or your dress will disappear!
Cinderella: (радостно хлопает в ладоши) Great! Everything is clear! Bye!
Scene 3. (At the ball)
(Звучит торжественная музыка. Входят участники бала: Принц, Король, Королева, гости)
Queen (обращается к гостям): The ball is on! Let’s dance and play!
King (обращается к гостям): Let’s have a lot of fun today!
(Звучит веселая песенка: “Hokey-Pokey”.) Участники балла поют и танцуют.

Prince (подходит к Золушке): Hello! Let’s dance! You are my dream!
(Звучит спокойная музыка. Принц с Золушкой танцуют. Часы бьют 12)
Cinderella: (испуганно) It’s 12 o’clock and I must run! Bye-Bye! I had a lot of fun! (Убегает, теряя одну туфельку. Принц бежит за ней)
Scene 4. (At home)
(Утро. Звучит спокойная музыка. Приехали принц со стражей. Мачеха с дочерьми встречает гостей. Золушка накрывает на стол)
Prince (обращается к матери и дочери): We know you were at the ball. Please, try on this shoe!
Stepsister: (раздраженно) I can’t, it’s very small!
Prince (заметив Золушку): But who is this? (показывая на Золушку) Come here, please! Try on this shoe, my pretty miss!
Stepmother (возмущенно): She didn’t go to the ball!
Father (принцу): Give her the shoe! Her foot is small!
Золушка меряет туфельку и достаёт вторую.
Prince: I’m happy that I’ve found you! I love you and I’d like to marry you!
Cinderella: Oh, yes, my prince! I love you too!
King and Queen: (радостно обращаясь к принцу и Золушке) The happy end for us and you!
(На сцену выходят все участники и исполняют песню “If you’re happy and you know it”)
