Цель: воспитать чувство патриотизма, развивать коммуникативные навыки говорения, чтения, закрепить грамматические навыки по теме “Past Simple”, “The Comparisons”, “Plurals”.
Методические задачи.
- Обучающие: познакомить учеников с героическим подвигом женщин в годы Великой Отечественной войны, повысить уровень восприятия и глубину проникновения в текст, формировать лексические навыки говорения.
- Развивающие: развивать способность к логическому изложению своих мыслей, развивать способности к сравнению, обобщению; способности к догадке, коммуникабельности; способности делать выводы, верно выражать свою точку зрения на английском языке
- Воспитательные: содействовать созданию целостной духовной картины мира и воспитывать чувство гордости за героическое прошлое наших предков, формировать уважение к старшему поколению, прививать чувство патриотизма, воспитывать чувство гордости за свою страну и любовь к Родине, уважительное отношение к истории России и героическому подвигу ветеранов ВОВ.

Ход мероприятия

T: Right! Victory Day is special for Russia. This year is the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War. The topic of our lesson today is “Heroism of Women in the Great Patriotic War”. Today we will talk about the Great Patriotic War. This war was an example of national tragedy and outstanding national feat. Women played a vital role in the war. We should always remember about it, so our lesson is devoted to the celebration of the great anniversary of Victory Day.

T: Be ready to do the following task. Work in groups of two. You should choose a picture that you like and describe it according to the suggested plan.
- Начать описание следует с фразы: «I’d like to describe picture (number)». Я бы хотел описать картинку (номер).
- The place (место, где был сделан снимок).Для начала нужно указать, кто изображён на картинке: «The picture shows us...» (На картинке изображена...) Затем следует предположить, где был сделан снимок: «The photo was (probably) taken inside/outside» (Фотография (возможно) была сделана внутри/на улице).
- The action (действие, происходящее на снимке). Предложение с описанием действия нужно строить в Present Continuous.
- The person's appearance (внешность людей, изображённых на снимке).Например: «The girl/boy looks like she/he is about ... years old» (Девочке/мальчику около ... лет). Можно описать внешность: «She/he has (colour) eyes and dark/fair hair» (У неё/него (цвет) глаза и тёмные/светлые волосы). Также стоит упомянуть одежду: «The girl/boy is wearing …»
