На протяжении многих лет работы учителем английского языка я вижу, что не во всех регионах включен в программу материал по региональному компоненту.
Считаю необходимым включать в программу также материал по военно-патриотическому воспитанию, что значительно расширит кругозор детей и знание культуры не только англо-говорящих стран, но и культуры, истории собственной страны, региона, края. Для того, чтобы развить интерес к предмету, выработать активную форму работы на уроке мы вместе с детьми находим материал о родном регионе, переводим на английский язык, разрабатываемсценарий урока и презентуем его. Один из таких уроков это о городах-героях Москве, Салехарде, где ребятам дается возможность самим найти информацию, запомнить новую лексику, научиться задавать вопросы и отвечать на них, работать над несложными проектами в рамках изученного материала. Отметим, что подобные темы ребятам очень интересны, так как прослеживаются смежные дисциплины, такие как история, география, изобразительное искусство, музыка. Всё это в совокупности положительно влияет на мировоззрение и воспитание патриотизма.
Наряду с этим развивается внимание, зрительная, слуховая память.
В данных заданиях, рассказах, диалогах, монологической речи, неоднократно используется предложенная лексика, что укрепляет память и концентрирует внимание при использовании разных видов речевой деятельности.
Важный этапом в проведении подобных уроков является и вызывает большой интерес у детей - это сбор информации, переработка его, то есть сам процесс, а так же, когда учащийся овладевает иностранной речью. Речь позволяет учащемуся включить в воображение не только конкретные образы, но и более отвлеченные представления и понятия. Более того, речь позволяет учащемуся перейти от выражения образов воображения в деятельности к непосредственному их выражению в речи.
