Цель:

Совершенствование игровых навыков и творческих способностей через постановку сказки.

Задачи:

Обучающая:

  • тренировать в чтении, в монологической речи (to practice reading and speaking skills.)
  • повторить ранее изученные и активизировать новые лексические единицы по теме "Famous Russian Painters";
  • вовлечь школьников в исследовательскую деятельность, поиск специфичной информации;
  • вовлечь школьников в активную речевую деятельность на уроке путем использования современных средств обучения, групповой работы и игровых технологий.

Воспитательная:

  • создавать у учащихся положительную мотивацию к уроку английского языка путём вовлечения каждого в активную деятельность.
  • расширить кругозор учащихся;
  • развивать логическое мышление;
  • тренировать память и внимание.
  • формировать нравственные ценности и ориентиры.

Развивающая:

  • развивать внимание, сообразительность, мышление, самостоятельность, память, воображение;

Ход урока

1. Organization of the lesson. Организационная часть. Приветствие (Greeting of pupils). Разминка (Warm-up)

Teacher: Good morning, students. I'm glad to see you.

Pupils: Good morning. We are glad to see you too.

Teacher: Let's greet our guests.

Pupils: Good morning our guests.

Teacher: Let's begin our lesson. What is your favorite food? What do you like to eat? Do you like chocolate?

Pupils: My favourite food is… I like to eat…

Teacher: I like sweets very much too. (Учитель достает конфеты «Мишка косолапый» с изображением картины Шишкина «Мишки в сосновом бору».)

2. Pre-reading work

Teacher: Who is the author of this picture? (слайд 1), So can you tell me what is the theme of our lesson. It is Famous Russian Painters.

3. While-reading work

Open your books, page 39, ex 9. Look at the pictures and match them with the names. May be we could not do it immediately.

So let's look at the presentation and find out something interesting about Shishkin.

4. Group work. Making projects

To start our work I have small pictures of these artist. (Учитель раздает раздаточный материал, который предполагает деление класса на 3 группы. У каждой группы свой художник)

To find out specific information about Russian painters: Isaak Levitan, Victor Vasnetsov, Ivan Shishkin, Valentin Serov. Answer the questions and decorate your projects.

Group 1 use the report about Levitan and answer the questions: (Слайд 9)

How old was he when he died? (40)

How many works has he painted? (1000 paintings, drawings)

What famous person was his friend? (Chekov)

Group 2 use their smartphones or iPad with internet. Answer the questions: (Слайд 10)

He was the third of the sixth children, wasn't he (the second)

Where was he born? (Vyatka Governorate)

How can we connect Vasnetsov and Lyudmila Zhuravlyova (She discoved a minor planet in 1978. It was named 3586 Vasnetsov.)

Group 3. The third group must find out some information about Valentin Serov and answer the questions:

What was his farther? (a composer and music critic).

Features of impressionism disappeared from his work, and his … style developed in his late period. (modernistic)

Where did he die? (In Moscow)

5. Presenting their projects. While- speaking work

After the students present their work and match all pictures with the artists' names they make a conclusion:

6. There is a mistake in the textbook.

There are two Shishkin's paintings "Rye" and "Morning in a pine forest".

There is no any Levitan' work.
