Цель мероприятия: систематизировать, расширить и обобщить знания учащихся по теме "Ireland ", совершенствовать коммуникативную компетенцию учащихся и развивать у них метапредметные и межпредметные навыки. Воспитывать культуру работы в команде по достижению общей цели, умение выслушивать и уважать мнение других.

Задачи урока:

  • Образовательный аспект: создавать условия для развития практического владения языком; формировать научное мировоззрение, убеждения; расширять лингвистический кругозор.
  • Развивающий аспект: развивать навык самостоятельного поиска информации и её систематизации с последующим представлением полученных данных; развитие способности к продуктивным речевым действиям, развитие внимания, логического мышления, умения сравнивать и делать выводы, извлечение нужной информации из текста; формирование критического мышления в условиях групповой и индивидуальной работы.
  • Воспитательный аспект: поддержка мотивации к изучению английского языка; обучение сотрудничеству и работе в группах, формирование навыков межличностного общения; воспитание чувства взаимопомощи и поддержки через работу в парах и группах.

Используемые личностно-ориентированные технологии: технология развития критического мышления, технология обучения в сотрудничестве.

Методы и приемы: наглядные (демонстрация видео и изображений), частично-поисковый (работа с текстом, выделение главной мысли), проектный метод (презентация), словесные (обсуждение).

Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, видео- и аудиозаписи, презентация к мероприятию, раздаточный материал.

Saint Patrick (Latin: Patricius; Proto-Irish: *Qatrikias;[2] Modern Irish: Pádraig;[needs IPA][3] Welsh: Padrig[4]) was a 5th-century Romano-British Christian missionary and bishop in Ireland. Known as the "Apostle of Ireland", he is the primary patron saint of the island along with Saints Brigit and Columba.

The dates of Patrick's life cannot be fixed with certainty but, on a widespread interpretation, he was active as a missionary in Ireland during the second half of the fifth century.[5] He is generally credited with being the first bishop of Armagh, Primate of Ireland.

When he was about 16, he was captured from his home in Great Britain, and taken as a slave to Ireland, where he lived for six years before escaping and returning to his family. After becoming a cleric, he returned to northern and western Ireland. In later life, he served as an ordained bishop, but little is known about the places where he worked. By the seventh century, he had already come to be revered as the patron saint of Ireland.

Saint Patrick's Day is observed on 17 March, the date of his death.[6] It is celebrated inside and outside Ireland as a religious and cultural holiday. In the dioceses of Ireland, it is both a solemnity and a holy day of obligation; it is also a celebration of Ireland itself. -Wikipedia-

Реквизит: лист А4, лепестки из цветной бумаги.

Участники: 4-6 человек.

Игрокам выдают альбомные листы, на которых простым карандашом нарисованы трилистники. Внутри каждого лепестка написана буква, обозначающая какой-либо цвет, например, «К» - красный цвет, «3» - зеленый и т.д.

Задача - собрать лепестки своего цвета, которые запрятаны в разные уголки комнаты. Тот, кто справится с заданием первым, получает четырехлистник - на счастье.
