5 dice with words (one word on each side) and 7 dice with pictures
1. I / you / we / they / she / he

7

Preparation

Print the materials, then cut and make the dice

8

Procedure

Step 1. Throw the die with +, - and? To know which kind of sentence should you make (positive, negative or a question). If there is a? on the top of the die, then throw the die with wh-questions.

Step 2. Throw any die with picture (you can use more then one). Any picture can mean many things and actions. For example you can say "eat" / "make food" / "chinese food" / "pizza" / etc., when you have a picture of a plate.

Step 3. Make a sentence.

9

Variations

You can make a dialog or a short story. The story can be told by one student or by the whole group of students. Teacher can make a little challenge (who will make more sentences or whose sentence will be longer)

10

Reflections

Students of all ages usually love this activity because they forget about mistakes and language barrier during the game. Dice randomize the speaking situation and make it more close to the real-life situation.
