I. Организационный момент
1. Приветствие.
2. - Look and guess. What we are going to talk about today (слайд 1).
Summer brings us nice warm sun
For swimming, fishing, and lots of fun;
For finding seashells in the sand;
For sunbathing to get a tan;
To do all these things and more
At the beach and at the seashore.
We are going to talk about summer holidays and about the beginning of the school.

III. Основной этап
1. «Бегущий диктант». На стенах кабинета расклеены листы с текстом.
Last summer was very nice. Tom went to his country house near London.
He went there with his parents. He did a lot: ran, swam in the river and helped about the house.
Ученики работают в парах: сидящий слева ученик подбегает к ближайшему листу с текстом, читает первые два предложения, запоминает их, возвращается на свое место и диктует их своему соседу по парте. Подбегать к листу с текстом можно любое количество раз. Затем сосед по парте, записав свои предложения под диктовку, бежит к листу с текстом за оставшимися предложениями и диктует их своему соседу. Затем ученики проверяют работу своего соседа, сравнивая ее с оригиналом текста на экране (слайд 3).
2. Read the text and put its parts in a logical order. Give the text a name.
a) We visited a lot of small Russian towns and some big cities before we got there. We met a lot of interesting people. We began to understand how big and beautiful our country is.
The sea was wonderful but it was not black. It was blue in the morning and dark green in the afternoon.
b) Last summer my friend's family went to the Black Sea by car and they took me with them. Kate is my best friend and it was really wonderful to travel together. Our way to the sea was not short.
c) The weather was sunny and hot. We lived in a tent and had a good time. Sometimes we played volleyball, read books and helped Kate's mother to cook. I think they were the best holidays in my life.

5. Let's talk about the weather. In summer the weather was hot and sunny. But it's autumn now. Compare the weather in summer and in autumn in small groups. And then give your answers. (слайд 4)
Use the words: the sky, the sun, the clouds, the trees, the grass, the flowers, the weather.

8. На листе бумаги группы (команды) пишут неправилные глаголы и задают друг другу по очереди по одному слову I форму глагола, а другая команда отвечает II форму глагола, не повторяя их.
