Цель урока: формирование навыков устной речи по теме у студентов педагогического колледжа.
Задачи урока:
- Отработать правило образования множественного числа существительного.
- Практиковать навыки построения полных предложений с использованием предложенных лексических единиц.
Необходимое обеспечение: доска, раздаточный материал (картинки, тексты)
Ход занятия
Good morning, students. I’m glad to see you/ how are you today? (фронтальный опрос учащихся о настроении)
Please? Have a look at our classroom. What can we see in our classroom? You should use constructions there is/ there are (учащиеся произвольно называют предметы в классной комнате)
What other objects and facilities can we find in our college? Let me help you. Look at the blackboard.

Come to the blackboard, cross the item and make up a positive or a negative sentence starting with there is /is. (студенты выходят к доске, выбирают объект и строят устно предложение)
Now you work in pairs. Each pair gets a picture of a classroom. You are to describe the picture using prepositions of place, plural and singular forms of nouns and constructions there is/are (учащиеся в течение 10 минут работают в парах и описывают предложенные картинки, а затем представляют описание классу).
Next task is an individual work with the following prompts to get ready to talk about your college:
- My college is a (modern, old) …-storey building.
- In front of the college building we can see …
- There is/are … behind it.
- The college is equipped with …
- The teacher use … at the lessons.
- There is/are … on the ground floor; there is/are … on the first floor and on the second floor.
- When we enter the … classroom, we can see …
- Our students try to take good care of …
- I think our college is …
(учащиеся самостоятельно работают 15-20 минут, а затем сверяют полученные результаты)
