Цели:

  • Активизация лексики по заданной теме;
  • Развитие навыков устной речи, умения вести непринужденную беседу, высказывать свое мнение;
  • Развитие навыков восприятия речи на слух и навыков выбора нужной информации из прослушанного текста;
  • Приспособление учебного материала к уровню и особенностям учащихся.

Технологии:

  • технология уровневой дифференциации.

Задачи урока: 

Практические

  • развивать и совершенствовать у учащихся речевые навыки и умения по всем видам речевой деятельности: аудированию, чтению, диалогической и монологической речи;
  • развивать навыки тематического высказывания;
  • участвовать в диалогах разного характера, в ситуациях официального и неофициального общения;
  • использовать полученные знания в модулируемых жизненных ситуациях.

Образовательные

  • развивать различные коммуникативные умения и потребность в познавательной активности

Воспитательные

  • повысить уровень мотивации учащихся к изучению английского языка;
  • способствовать уважительному отношению к собеседнику и его мнению;
  • поддерживать у учащихся стремление к самосовершенствованию и активной жизненной позиции.

1. Оргмомент.

T: Hello, everybody! Glad to see you. How are you?

2. Введение в тему.

T: Let’s begin. Please, look at the screen. Now you’ll watch a short presentation, which will help you to guess the topic of our lesson.

T: So, what are we going to talk about?

P: Judging by the presentation, I can say we will speak about rights and responsibilities.

T: That’s right! Please, can you define the aim of the lesson? Why is it important to study this topic?

P: The aim of the lesson is to learn about our rights and responsibilities. I think we should know our rights to be successful in our society.

T: Well! What does the word “right” mean?

P: “Right” is something you are legally or morally allowed to do or to have.

T: Good! So what is the “responsibility”?

P: “Responsibility” is something you must do.

T: Thank you. Let’s go on.

3. Развитие навыков говорения.

T: Open your books ex. 3 p. 48. Read the poem by Eduard Everett Hale, an American clergyman who lived in the 19th century. Read out and define the main idea of the poem.

T: Have you read? Answer, please! What is “responsibility” for the author?

P: “Responsibility” for the author is being an active member of society who contributes and helps by doing whatever he can.

T: Do you agree with Hale’s point of view?

P: Yes, if we all do as much as we can, a lot can be achieved!

4. Отработка новой лексики раздела.

T: As you noticed, the vocabulary of the unit is rather difficult and we have to practice using new words. Your homework was to use the new vocabulary in the sentences. Well, let’s check your homework.

T: Ok, thank you. Let’s go on. I want you to work individually for checking your knowledge. So, divide into two groups: A and B. Group A, take a sheet of paper. The next task for you is ex. 4 p. 48! Complete the sentences with the phrases. You don’t have to write full answers, only the phrases. Group B, I know, you are going to take the exams in June and your excellent results are important. And your task is the word-formation. Remember, to do this task well, you should find out which part of speech you are going to form. Write down your answers and results will be given the next lesson.

T: Ok, let’s pass on to ex. 1 p 48. Here you can find two boxes. Read, please, through the list of the rights and then, read out the list of their responsibilities. Do the task and then compare your answers with the partner.

5. Развитие навыков аудирования.

T: The next task is listening. Listen to the speakers and for questions 1-3 choose A, B, C. Circle your response.

T: Now look at the board and check your answers.

T: So, you’ve worked hard. Are you tired? Let’s relax! Look at the screen and follow the objects. Do exercises for your eyes.

6. Развитие навыков чтения и говорения.

T: Ok, let’s continue our lesson. The next task will help you to develop reading and speaking skills. Ex. 7 p. 49. Read sentences A-F. What do you think the dialogue might be about?

P: The dialogue is about the problem in a class at school.

T: Pay attention to the incomplete dialogue below phrases. Read silently and complete with the sentences from ex. 7(A).

T:  What right is Adam violating? How is he going to put the situation right?

P:Adam is violating the right to be educated and the right to be treated with respect. He’s going to apologise to his teacher.

T: Now I want you to act out this dialogue. Please, come here and act.

T: You know, in our life there’re a lot of situations when we should express the regret. Let’s have a look at the language box (ex. 9) and review the phrases which help us to do that. You have two minutes to express regret for all situations.

7. Рефлексия. Подведение итогов урока. Задание на дом.

T: Now draw a conclusion. What have we discussed about?
